Well, I've hesitated to ask for your help in praying about a situation b/c I really believe that whatever happens will be God's will. Or maybe I'm just fooling myself, but I havent been anxious about my situation - yet.
I've technically been out of work since late May - I thought I had a new job starting July 1 and it was the perfect time for the cut backs b/c I was having surgery and would be off in June to recover.
Well the job fell through and I was suddenly left with no prospects and our world fell apart. Thats ok tho, God has kept us and provided for us.
Well, long story short - I been placed on assignment with a temp agency since late September.
I would really like to stay on here, I'd really like them to hire me for a couple of reasons - 1. it's a REAL job (a sense of belonging and permanancy) 2. the money would be better directly from the employer. What I make now, I thank GOD for; but it barely supports my driving to work every day...but it DOES help, Praise God - I'd stay on a temp forever if I knew they would keep me. It's so much better than being out of a job.
The job market here isnt good, as I'm sure you all experience in your own cities. I've applied for countless jobs and have gotten very few call backs, much less interviews.
I am trusting God for His perfect will but I think I havent really asked him like I'm supposed to to work out this situation.
((not such a long story short post is it?? LOL))
What I'd like to ask is your help praying with me for God's will. I'd really like an answer, some kind of clue as to what is going to happen with this assignment. I know I'm here this week and perhaps the end of the month as the lady I work directly with is gone on vacation starting Friday and all next week. I'd stay through month end for sure, but no guarantee after that.
Will you join me in prayer and ask God for his will? I hate to say I'd like an answer NOW, but I really would LOL
I guess what I need is patience to just wait on God. I really cant afford to be out of work any more....I'd like to feel like I have a permanent job, if that is even possible.
