Watched it, thought it was funny. Some REALLY good talent, a lot of mediocre talent, and lots of insane people that evidently don't have anyone that loves them enough to not let them get on national TV and make fools of themselves.

The harlot in the bikini was just ridiculous and offensive. We fast-forwarded it so we didn't have to see it. They were talking about her on the radio this morning and played a clip of her singing an old Mariah Carey song. It was awful, she was all over the place with pitch, but she got passed on to the next round. Amazing! If she is going to get past the Hollywood round, she's going to have to show up completely naked, because her voice sure won't get her through.

I heard Mark tried out also Bro Chico's daughter. Both have great voices. Seriously they let "Bikini Girl" through only for that reason. She did sing much better than a lot of others, but her voice was not good enough to get her to Hollywood. Will she be the Sanjaya of the season? Sure hope not.

Based on how he sings and that they said tonight he was the music director at his church I did some google research and found out his church, Faith Builders International, is indeed a Cruisematic one that believes in Speaking in tongues and water baptism by immersion.

It is clear that Tatiana is being coached by private coaches who have told her she was going to go nowhere fast with the psycho demeanor and psycho laugh.

You could tell she was trying very hard to be poised and give an air of calmness, etc. She was even standing with one leg in front of the other and one foot kind of pointed out like she was posing after she sang and was hearing the judges comments.

I was very surprised at how well she sang. Not well enough to go far or win the competition but much better than I had heard her in Hollywood week.

I thought Danny was the best, followed by that Braddy fella (I think he sang second)... and my third pick would have been the Indian guy (can't remember his name). I also think the Afro-American fella has a beautiful voice, but didn't like his Michael Jackson song.

Simon was too mean to that 16-year old. She hung tough, tho. Glad she didn't cry (I felt like crying for her, tho.)

Ok American Idol is a huge disappointment!!! I can not believe they put those two girls through!!! Matt can sing but Megan and Jasmine are so average!!! Ricky Braddy should have been picked a long time ago to go through, instead the judges let him slip away!!! I'm sorry to say this but the blind guy really got the sympathy vote. He is an ok singer; he is not good enough to win. Then there's that guy that I can not even remember his name, Allen or something like that. Seriously, what were they thinking? A bunch of tweens must have been burning up the lines, calling in to vote for him. I stand by my favorite Danny Gokey. I doubt AI will set new records this year. The whole format is horrible!!! Jasmine has an incredible face, look and smile. I don't think she will make it as a singer but will definitely be a TV star. I can see her in a sitcom or drama.

Tattoo girl has to go. Her voice is like one of those female vocalists on a Disney animated movie made in the 1930's. She has such a beautiful face it is a shame she has destroyed her body with the nasty all arm tattoo and then doesn't have enough since to cover it up when wearing an evening type dres.

I didn't like the Conway Arkansas guy because I am jealous. No guy should be that handsome, that talented singing, AND have such a beautiful blonde wife!!! LOL

Danny is still the man to beat although Mr. Black fingernails and girly hair is also very good. I liked most of his performance tonight but at times it seemed like he was screaming and I thought for sure Simon was going to call him on that but he didn't. He does have a great voice but as someone pointed out why can't men just be manly? I am still trying to figure out if he is a 'mo or just "sensitive".

Ok this is what I thought about AI tonight.

My favorite Danny was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing else needs to be said.

Jasmine- I can not understand how she even made it to the top 13. Her voice is a dime a dozen. Nothing that makes you say wow.

Megan- She was a mess!!! That song she sang was horrible!!! I remember singing that song at elementary school during music class. She's a cute girl but those tattoos are so ugly.

Jorge- I really like him just because. He does have a good voice. I hope he makes it through.

Adam- The guy is a cutie. He screams better than he sings. He has he perfect voice for 80's rock. I'm sure he will make it through, not because of his voice but because of all these tweens voting for him.

Lil- She's good but I've heard her voice in other artists. If that makes any sense.

Anoop- I like him but the song choice was not good.

Michael- He has a good voice. I bet his 'pentecostal' momma is praying for him. LOL!!!

Scott- I admire his life story. I do not think he should be in the top 13. I really feel he got the sympathy vote.

Allison- That girl can sing and she is young. I liked her.

Kris- Why is he in the top 13? I don't even remember him singing tonight.

Matt- I liked him. He did good but really should have left out the falsetto at the end.

Last but not least Alexis Grace- one word, firecracker!!! She is good!!! Such a big voice for such a tiny body. She can sing.

Danny absolutely THREW DOWN last night! One of the best all-time performances on AI that I've ever seen. Up there with David Cook's Billie Jean performance and Chris Daughtry's Walk The Line performance. It was amazing. Simon must have been in a grouchy mood last night - almost like he had to say something bad so he talked about his dancing. Oh well.

Trying to figure out who the Conway, AR guy is that CC1 is talking about. :lol

Jorge and Anoop weren't as bad as the judges said.
The adrogynous fellow had a good voice. His hair was scarey as well as his eyeliner.
I was not impressed by anyone else.

They interviewed the Pentecostal mom - she got a few moments of air time. She seems to be very proud of her son, even though he is obviously not as conservative as his mom.

I love Danny Gokey, and I like the Puerto Rican just because he seems pretty humble. I didn't hear Lil sing, because we turned it on a few minutes late. I hate the rocker look, but I gotta say Adam did a great job with the song. I just didn't enjoy "Michael Jackson" night because I don't like his stuff at all. I hope next week is a different type of music completely.

Danny absolutely THREW DOWN last night! One of the best all-time performances on AI that I've ever seen. Up there with David Cook's Billie Jean performance and Chris Daughtry's Walk The Line performance. It was amazing. Simon must have been in a grouchy mood last night - almost like he had to say something bad so he talked about his dancing. Oh well.

While I don't pay that much attention to the competition, I did watch some of the tryouts. My Wife had it on last night and I enjoy country music very much and liked that they had brought Randy Travis in for advise to the AI's.

Watching this now it doesn't seem as awesome as it did when I watched him sing it live on the show. It's a cover of Live's version, which is much better. I do love Daughtry, though.

I think I read somewhere that she had a heart conditoin. She may have died during surgery if memory serves me correct.

I have not met him. But a few years back we met Pastor Pruett's father. We went to the Beloit Church to visit when Gary Oliver was there to minister over a weekend. The Pruett's father and son are very awesome in their approach and ministry. I would like to visit the church near the Airport, they have serive at 1:00PM in the afternoon. That church is growing, it in the old cinema that they converted into a church. It would be weird since that theatre is the one my wife and I went to, when we dated 23 years ago. I still have my home at True Life and with the Butler's. We had a great service this past Sunday... Looking forward to Eddie coming in April. We would love to have you come along with him.

The son pastors both the Beloit and Milwaukee churches. They have services in the morning in Beloit and drive to Milw and have services at 1:00PM. Danny was the music minister at both services.

Love that scripture but this is about American Idol. It's the name of a singing show and has nothing to do with Proverbs 31. With so much going on in this world I think we are entitled to some fun. Watching American Idol is fun and interesting. These singers are NOT my idols.

Now on tonights show. It was way better than last week. This is what I thought.....

Matt- I like him and thought he did a great job.

Kris- Boring......I took a nap during his performance.

Scott- SUPER boring!!!!!!!! Time for him to go!!!!!

Anoop- The song was too slow. I was not thrilled with his vocals

Megan- What is she still doing there? How did she even make it this far? She sounded horrible!!! Her voice cracked, she was all over the place. I enjoyed the back-up singers much more. Good bye time to go!!!

Adam- Here's the shocker, I actually enjoyed his performance. He did not creep me out this week. He even looked so handsome. And he did NOT scream!!! Thank you Adam!!!

Lil- Did not like her performance. She has a great voice but only can sing one style of music. She seems like a fun person to be around.

Allison- She was AWESOME!!! Its incredible that she is only 16 years old. She has the voice of someone who has been singing for years.

Danny- What can I say, I love Danny!!! He is a solid singer. Danny and Allison are my favorites and possibly the ones in the top two.

I think that either Megan or Scott will be voted off, maybe even Anoop.

I've thought from the first time I watched Adam perform that he had an incredible voice. Sure, his genre may not be what most here listen to, but I really think he has the best voice of them all, including Allison. Allison is good, but Adam has incredible range and, as you saw last night, ability to smooth it out and sing beautifully. Allison kind of reminds me of Kelly Clarkson. Danny's good, but I didn't think he was great last night. Fantasia ... wups, I mean, Li'l Squares or whatever was terrible. Song, hair, vocals ... it was all bad.

I think the final two will be Adam and Allison.

Megan and Scott were the worst. Scott is a great guy but being nice can only get you so far in a singing competition.

Megan should have been the first one gone a long time ago. She absolutely positively cannot sing and should not have made the finals. That she survived after her "Rocking Robin" debacle is amazing. She has one of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen on TV but this is not a modeling contest. Besides her face is countered by the nasty all arm tattoo she insists on baring every performance.

As usual Danny was stellar. For the first time I was very impressed by Matt. I thought Anoop Dog did very good and the little sixteen year old with the voice of a 65 year old smoker is amazing. I always loved "Papa was a rolling stone" and she did the song justice although she did mumble a lot in the middle which made me think she had forgotten some of the words.

Lil Rounds was the biggest disappointment. My expectations for her on Motown night were great and I thought she sounded terrible. The song was way too wordy to show off her vocal skills.

Megan and Scott were the worst. Scott is a great guy but being nice can only get you so far in a singing competition.

Megan should have been the first one gone a long time ago. She absolutely positively cannot sing and should not have made the finals. That she survived after her "Rocking Robin" debacle is amazing. She has one of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen on TV but this is not a modeling contest. Besides her face is countered by the nasty all arm tattoo she insists on baring every performance.

As usual Danny was stellar. For the first time I was very impressed by Matt. I thought Anoop Dog did very good and the little sixteen year old with the voice of a 65 year old smoker is amazing. I always loved "Papa was a rolling stone" and she did the song justice although she did mumble a lot in the middle which made me think she had forgotten some of the words.

Lil Rounds was the biggest disappointment. My expectations for her on

Motown night were great and I thought she sounded terrible. The song was way too wordy to show off her vocal skills.

Adam's performance was very polarizing. My wife and a local radio personality loved it and raved about it. My daughter and myself did not care for it. Singing in falsetto at some points in a song can be good but to do the entire song in falseto was not good in my book. The boy can sing but I did not care for that performance. He sure did look better though!

As far as Lil Rounds not being able to win with her attitude that is not accurate because Jennifer Hudson won and her attitude stunk and still does. She also was somewhat ghetto. So was Fantasia.

Danny did great as usual. Adam did good but then I love that song so that helped. Also love "Ain't No Sunshine" that number 9 did and not only did he do great vocally but it was a unique arrangement for that song that worked.

Biggest disappointment was wart boy. I can't remember his name but the great singer with the giant bump in the middle of his forehead that draws you in like a magnet. He has been great lately but tonight it was just horrible. Bad song and bad vocals. At the beginning of the song I was thinking maybe his monitor wasn't working and he coudlnt' hear himself because he was off key and I have never heard him do that before.

Blind dude did the best he has ever done. He ususally sounds amateurish but tonight sounded like a pro.

Kris was incredible. Played the keyboard and really rocked it. I haven't been a Kris fan, but he really impressed me with his performance.

Megan's song was boring. She stood behind the mic stand, barely moved. The song wasn't good for her.

Li'l Rounds was terrible again. Celine Dion? Seriously? Not sure how many times she can continue to choose bad songs, do badly, and have the judges critique her song choice and vocal style ... but then say how great her vocals are. I'd put her in the bottom three with Megan and Anoop.

Danny was spot-on ... again. He sang with a ton of feeling and really did well.

Adam still has the best vocal ability of the group though. His range is incredible. I wasn't sure what to expect with him singing, Play That Funky Music, but wow! It was a lot of fun.

Question ... what attacked Allisons hair? And what was she wearing?! She looked terrible. The song was okay, but could have been better.

Anoop went back to being, well, forgettable. Usher can only do Usher.

Scott was better than the past few performances. Not sure about the hair though.

The JT wannabe is not a rocker and it showed with his attempt last night. His voice doesn't do gritty very well.

Anoop- Did not like his performance. You can totally tell he was copying Usher's moves. I get what Kara was trying to say.

Kris- He sings good but I am just not feeling him. Its the same style for every performance.

Megan- PLEASE America, stop voting for her!!! I've said before she is the "Sanjaya" of season eight. She CAN NOT sing!!! Randy was right just because you love a song does not mean you can sing it. So far she can't sing anything.

Scott- Sounds the same every week. BORING!!!

Allison- She did ok but the outfit was awful and distracting.

Adam- The screamer is back!!! I did enjoy his performance. I have a feeling he might win it all.

Lil- I was bored with the song she sang. She could have picked another song that she could have just let it rip.

How could you not mention Danny Gokey? He cosistrently is awesome. I agree that Matt and Allison were also great tonight. I was a little disappointed in pretty boy from Arkansas (I can never remember his name) and Lil Rounds proved once again she is no black diva. She is that person who sounds great in a Karaoke bar but is not original or really that good. She even tried to walk out like Tina Turner it was so much an imitation (a pale imitation).

Out of the performances last night...

Simon was spot on with Anoop, he's a yo-yo singer, up one song and down the next. Anoop has proven he can sing ballads, but he's tanked on any song with a beat.

Best performances I saw:

Adam, though I didn't like the song and thought it was boring, his voice is, wow. I'd be interested to see what kind of album he'd make.

Allison, what was she wearing?! She's got a great voice and awesome stage presence for a young girl.

Matt was way better tonight, but he's best with that soulful style. Last week's song was a terrible choice, he doesn't do raspy rock well ... but he's got a great voice.

Bottom 3:
Li'l Rounds - is she trying to be Whitney Houston, Fantasia or Tina Turner? I don't care. I just don't like her. The past 4 weeks now she's been consistently underperforming. She will have her name in lights though ... local karaoke shows.

Anoop - dude is great with ballads, but just not as original or creative as some of the others on the show.

Scott - Uhm, terrible choice to leave the piano and pick up the guitar. Sorry, but that performance was scarier than Adam's "Burning Ring of Fire." I don't think he'll be voted out though, even though his performance was probably the worst of the night.

I would put money on Adam and Danny being the last two contestants. They both have great voices and are very good looking in their own ways, but I really do think that Adam is going to win it all.

He just knows how to entertain. While Danny has a great voice, I could see how he could get boring after a while. Although Adam may seem a little weird, he is not afraid to take chances. It is vexing when you have that kind of thing happening. I have watched a few episodes from time to time. ive seen some of the idiots and Ive seen some of the final groups who were pretty good but I just dont watch it for a number of reasons.


Now there is this new one that just might be more important than all the others. There is a mindset at work here that I want no part of. Its one thing to sing hits. and have a contest. even if you call it IDOL, I get it and understand why some folk dont have a problem watching it.

Adam is in a league of his own. Although I mostly don't care for his songs/style, he IS a performer in every sense of the word!

Allison is second best in my book (for vocals, performance). But again, not really my style.

My favorite is Danny. His eyes tell such a story for me. I love him, but...

Also, I'm a little worried about Matt. He has had some great moments. They (judges) didn't like him tonight, tho. I thought he did fine, but not his best. (I didn't know the song he sang, so that makes a difference for me.)

I think that plays against him overall. You almost have to be a little cocky to come across as a performer on there.

That's what I thought too...it was just weird...it did seem disjointed...like they weren't on the same page! I don't know, Paula's out there anyway, so to put her and Simon on a team....LOL!

All that justifies watching a carnal sinful show? My pop blocker works fine with no problems. Yes advertisement are on net, mags, billlboards..etc....how does that justify willfully turning to watch a carnal sinful show????


You can't help driving by some billboards but you don't have to buy the mag nor do you have to access the internet.

Because inappropriate material is found in and on mags and on billboards does that justify willfully turning on the computer and firing up the internet where you know carnal material abounds? Material, btw, that no pop up blocker or other blocking devise can completely filter out, no matter how good or how hard you try. Carnal stuff gets through no matter what you do.

The reason I am picking on this is because of the INCONSISTENCY.

No one has the right to preach to others about the evils of TV if they access the internet which is full of easily accessible evils beyond anything TV offers.

You can use a computer and many computer programs without accessing the internet.

I agree with most of what you posted. I do disagree that nobody comes close to Adam's talent. I think Danny is better overall. Adam is spectacular on those high notes that it takes a gay guy missing parts of the male anatomy to hit but Danny is still more pleasing to hear to me overall.

Everything else is right on the money except I thought Allison did terrible and I am not certain she is safe. You are correct that it is clear Lil Rounds should be the one leaving but Matt was so bad I worry he might go and that would be a shame due to just one bad night.

It's down to seven. This is what I thought about last nights performances.

Allison- What can I say, she is an incredible singer!!! That girl can sing!!! I believe she will be in the top three.

Anoop- He has a good voice but he is a bit boring now.

Matt- I like him but he did not do all that great tonight.

Adam- Screaming or singing, this guy is a true performer. I enjoy watching him sing other than the time he sang Ring of Fire. That still gives me the creeps!!! He can play a young Elvis in a movie.

Kris- Has a nice voice but I just don't know why he bores me. Randy was so wrong, Kris was NOT pitchy.

Lil- What in the world happened to her? She sang flat and off almost the entire song.

Danny- I love him!!!!!! It wasn't his greatest performance, but still good enough to win AI.

I think the bottom three will be Lil, Anoop, and Matt. I am going to cheat and find out who gets the boot before it airs in the west coast. LOL!!!
