View Full Version : Pray For Job Situation
As most of you know, I hurt my Ankle at work which required surgery to fix, complications set in & that resulted in myself being off work all of last year.
I was cleared to return to work on Jan 6, on Jan 7, my company said that I had already been replaced & they gave me one month salary in lieu of proper notice.
That being said, because it is a WCB claim, they will extend my benefits for ten weeks but in return require me to present proof of applying for a minimum of 30 jobs a week--25 of them in person!
Failure to provide proof will result in benefits being denied to me.
I need firstly, direction on where to apply, & secondly, favour for a job.
Could you spare a prayer please?
Thanks & God Bless!
Ron

I appreciate the prayers PO & I know I can count on your prayers asked for or not.
Speaking of Skunks, we have been battling fog the last couple of weeks & I usually go for Gas in the late evening as that is when the prices are lowest.
I had to gas up & seeing as my back bothers me from time to time, I had already took a couple of muscle relaxers & was just a little loopy when I was driving down my back alley.
I was about three quarters of the way down this dark, foggy alley when two animals broke from the side of the alley and started running in front of the van!
Oh no, if I hit these Skunks it will stink!!!
They ran to the side & it was then I saw it was just a couple of midnight bandits--Raccoons!:nutso
Animals!!

Hilarious!!!!! I thought about starting a thread, during the holidays, in honor of "Road Kill" in our travels!
We were halfway to Austin and saw a dead hog on the side of the road. Someone had stopped, wrapped tinsel around it's neck and put a Santa hat on it!! :toofunny I should have stopped to take a picture! :toofunny I didn't know how long it had been sitting there, so we didn't stop. Got a big laugh out of it.
Will continue to pray for the situation Ron.

Ron praying for you to find favor and that God will bless you with a better job soon.
I can feel your pain.
My husband is hearing of layoffs all day today. I am trusting God to keep his job safe.
