All of our churches have one. The eldest of the elders. The saint who has been walking in the light so long it would seem as if the Holy Ghost just radiates off of him. The one who is always chosen by God to interpret a message for the church. Prayer meetings before service are filled with him singing in tongues.
Ours is Bro. Robert Owens. Please remember his family in prayer as they deal with the Lord's decision to take him home.
With the exception of his family there is no sadness in the saints. Just to give you an idea of the person he was. On his way up today he would have stopped for just a second before stepping inside those pearly gates to look back at us with his thumbs in his ears, fingers waving and tongue stuck out saying "nua na na nua naaaa na "
His presence will be sorely missed.
