I don't know how many of you BOOMM may have mentioned this to, but he has been sick for the past 3 month. He gets flu like symptoms and gets really sick for a few days then seems to get better but never fully recovers and a couple of weeks later the same thing happens again. His energy level is far lower than his normal and he just does not feel good most of the time. His doctor has run blood tests which have showed nothing, and he has take 2 rounds of antibiotics which seem to help initially but the relief does not last long. He want to bed around 7 or so last night and except for getting up a couple of times for brief periods he has been in bed.
I am worried that something may be really wrong. He will not like that I posted this but I feel that you guys should know so that you can pray. We know that we have witnessed miracles on this forum. So, I am asking for your prayers that whatever this is, that it leaves his body today! God is definitely able! Thanks so much for your prayers.

Sorry to hear that BOOMM hasn't been feeling well. DIdn't realize this had been going on. Thank you for letting us know and tell him that we are going to be praying for him! And believe that whatever this is is diagnosed and taken care of quickly.

We will definitely pray for your husband. I am hardly ever sick but this
week on Mon. woke up with flu like symptoms, headache, chills, head
stopped up, sore throat. I am beginning to feel better today but Felicity
said she had been sick since Tues. but was able to go to work today,
same symptoms. I know a lot of people who have had seemingly the same
thing over and over. We just need to ban together and pray for one
another, in Jesus Name!! God can be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities. We can touch Him.
Lord Jesus, I humbly ask You, right now, in the Name of Jesus to touch
Bro. BOOMM, and whatever this affliction is, Lord God, that You would
root it out of his body, never to return, in the Name of Jesus. Touch
his spirits and lift them high. No doubt, this devoted husband is perhaps
concerned about his sweet companion, and Lord Jesus, I ask that YOU
would minister to them both. Give them HOPE that only YOU can give,
in Jesus Name we pray!! Thank YOU for what YOU WILL DO for this
couple! Thank You, JESUS!!

This is NOT a joke. I had the flu and was down for about 6 weeks. 2 weeks of feeling fine and 2 weeks ago after church came down with the chills. Ached bad in my shoulders and arms and bad cough. I still have the cough although minor, and simply no energy.

I will be praying. I really would check out the tick bite theory. The symptoms sound like some things caused by that.

I pray that God will allow the cause of this malady, bird flu, flu, or
whatever it is to be found out. There have been so much of this here
in Texas and Sis. Felicity has had some of the same symptoms in Canada
as I have here in Texas and I think you are a long, long way from Texas,
so if it is related to ticks as suggested, I would say this whole nation is
"ticked" off!!!! LOL!!! Anyway, our God is sufficient for whatever it is. One
symptom Sis. Felicity did not mention, I don't recall her mentioning, was the
aching in arms and shoulders. Chills, I believe she mentioned. I have have
some chills. I have definitely had aching arms and shoulders but I have spent
a lot of time on this forum as I forget about myself when I focus on others!

Praying here. My husband had similar symptoms- was allergies and sinus infection and bronchitis .The meds made him feel bad, too. He is just feeling better after about 4 weeks of feeling yucky.
We are praying that God heals you and restores your strength.

I finally remembered the name of the tick born disease that his symptoms made me think of. Lymes disease. I may have misspelled it.

If that is what it is, a simple course of antibiotics can cure it.

I am just updating you all so that you can help me pray, BOOMM is going to go to the Dr at 11am today. Please pray that the Dr can find out what it is that is going on so that he can help him. He came home from work yesterday and went straight to the bedroom and laid down. I woke him 2.5 hours later to see if he would be able to eat something. He never does this. Something is really wrong. So, if those of you that see this could pray I would really appreciate it. It is an answer to prayer that I finally was able to convince him to call the Dr. Now, I am praying that the Dr does a thorough exam.

Don't settle for anything less than the tests you need to find out what is going on. Don't let them give you the run around. You're paying the bill, and you have the right to be a satisfied customer/patient.

Thanks, for your prayers. I know that stress can do a lot but unless there is something going on that I am not aware of, he has been under much more stressful times in the past than now and has not gone thru anything like this.

Make sure and tell Bro B to be as stubborn about getting the tests/treatment he needs as he was when you were trying to get him to go to the doctor...
Bro B-- I know you're probably going to drop in and read this-- so let me tell you that you need to take care of yourself FIRST and foremost. Don't be a stubborn man.... (Yes, I am married to one of the most stubborn men that there is-- so I know how you men can be. :D )
Your wife and daughter want you around for a very long time to come. You know that... I don't have to tell you. But PLEASE make them do whatever tests they have to do. This is not something to just let them hand you a prescription and send you back to the house.
We're praying for healing... whether it be miraculous or through the hands of your doctor.

Having changed to a very strong Allergy pill, I was feeling better. This was confirmed last night. See I take these miracle tabs at night, and Monday was tired and went to bed early. I missed the dose. Last night I felt rotten again and had the sniffles. It will be a while before I miss another dose.
Now I face the job of losing the few pounds I put on while doing nothing for 6 weeks or more.

I've had a bad cough that still persists for 6 weeks now...I have an appointment with a pulmonary doctor this Monday...I think it is an allergy...dust mites....the floor I work on at my job has tons of boxes and paper and I think this is affecting me. I hope this specialist can detect what is going on and we can get to the bottom of this....I am tired of coughing. :bedtime

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. Severe allergies can really get a person down. My hubby has really severe allergies. For a long time he had dark circles under his eyes, and looked like I had given him two black eyes. It took forever for those to go away with allergy treatment. They tried him on several allergy meds before finally finding one that would treat the majority of the allergy symptoms he has. If he misses a dose, he gets to the point he can't breathe-- has severe muscle aches, etc. I agree with you... some of those allergy meds are miracle pills. (And they charge for them according to how well they work... LOL)

The biggest and most obvious symptom of Lyme's is that there are large rashy patches on the abdomen and back. Can't miss them.

Boom~ If it returns find a doctor in your area who knows how look for Fibromyalgia, from what you decribe early it can feel like the flu coming on in early stage . I went through this for almost two years before it was diagnosed, due to the fact it comes and goes, feel great for months, wakeup in the next day feel like you ran a marathon . Otherwise I'm happy to hear your feeling better and nothing more then a nasty allergy~

I dunno, I know I do feel better after taking this new medicine. I expect to have shortness of funds after I am done with the samples. Seems this is over $100 per month.....
