My Grandson: Update

My son (Matthew) has had to file a contempt charge against his son's mother (C.). She took Joshua to MI and does not plan on returning to Ok. They currently share joint physical, and legal custody.

If she does not return to Ok for the hearing they will file kidnapping charges. We will find out in a few days if he gets full custody, his lawyer seems to think the judge will award it to him based on the contempt charge. He is pushing the contempt through quickly.

Since I posted the original prayer request she has moved out of the new boyfriends home, and is planning on moving in with another man she has met.

This is such a sad situation, please continue to pray . I really love this girl, and have a burden for her. She is her own worst enemy It is just such a mess.
Remember Matthew for strength, he has not seen Joshua for 6 weeks, and it is hurting him so much. He is a very hands on father.

Thank you all so much for your prayers.. I know God has a plan.

Update:

He has been given temp full custody, he is going after Joshua tonight. There is a hearing March the 3rd. Thank you all for praying, please continue . I believe, and know God is in control!!

I want to give an update. God is so good to me.. My son Matthew, and Candice came to an agreemant before court. She gets Joshua 2 months and Matthew gets him one month. This doesn't sound that good, but this is what came out of it.

When Matthew picked Joshua up for his month here in Oklahoma, Candice decided she could not return to Michigan and leave Joshua behind for a whole month. She decided to remain in Oklahoma.Which is what I was hoping for, because Joshua needs both his parents on a regular basis. The man she was going to move in with was sent to jail, and she dropped him.. She is now living with me. We have her signed up to start GED classes next month. She has been going to church with me sometimes, and we are trying to get her into her own apartment. Maybe, then she won't move in with just any man. I have told her she is welcome to stay with us as long as she desires to. I enjoy having my GRANDson here. Candice and I get along fine, she is like one of my own children. I want to help her all I can.. If Ican help her have a better life, my grandson will have a better life.....

I want to thank all for praying, I know God has a plan... and he will continue to work..


My son is okay with it.. at least now he is. He is relieved his son is in a safe place...
