Prayer Needed for My Dad

My Dad has gotten to the point that he can no longer drive because of his extremely poor vision. He is in good health for his age (late 80s) other than his vision has deteriorated so much that he has had to have his driver's license pulled. I don't want him to hurt himself or others. So, this is the best for now.

Please pray that God will heal his eyes. This is very sad for all of us. We made an appointment for him in a city a few hours away where there is a large eye clinic and many specialists. He has macular degeneration and has had several laser procedures.

Can anyone recommend a specialist at Mayo Clinic or any other place? We would be willing to drive to Cleveland Clinic or any of the Mayo Clinics. I did a check and discovered that the Mayo Clinic has clinics in Florida and Arizona, as well as the one in Minnesota.

We took Dad to a big city clinic where the physicians do research and are supposed to use the most recent equipment and techniques. Apparently, the local ophthalmologists have been giving him the best treatment. Please pray for him ....Pray for his wife. She is really taking this hard. Both of them need prayer for a deeper walk with God. Please help me to pray for them. There is a possibility that they will go to church with us tomorrow morning. Thanks to all of you here who said you would pray. I read requests and pray and don't always respond and I know others do, too.

Doctors are going to decide if Dad can have any more procedures to help to improve his vision. He may be having another procedure tomorrow (late morning). Please pray for him.
