Please pray for me. I have been coughing for weeks and apparently have some type of pulmonary problem. I am thinking it is bronchitis or pneumonia. Today I went to the DR but did not have an x-ray. He gave me two inhalants, an antibiotic and cough suppressant. A bigger concern is chronic weakness, horrific headaches, sporadic bouts with vertigo and chest pain. I keep forcing myself to work and to get out of the house, but really have almost zero energy. Heart rate stays over 100 beats per minute almost all the time. Next week I have some obligations at work and am hoping to fulfill them. After that if I am not better, I may go to have a heart catheterization.

I know God heals. He's done it for me many times. Thanks in advance for your prayers. I sure need them!

Girl, I'm praying for you. But you need to go get checked out by a specialist or something. You've been sick way too long!

I will pray for you.

Please insist on further tests from the doctor.

There is a prayer request thread that I started on the forum about a young boy from our church... he had symptoms similar to what you are describing for a couple of weeks. (weakness, vertigo, severe headache) They thought it was just a really bad cold or sinus problems at first and were using OTC meds to treat symptoms. He got progressively worse. It was originally a sinus infection-- which developed into meningitis. He is STILL very sick and hospitalized from the complications.

TalkLady, we'll pray for you.

But PLEASE go and get checked out. NOW. Not next week after you finish the jobs you want to do at work. Those jobs can be done by someone else. And if you get checked and taken care of, then you can be here to do jobs in the future. But with a heart rate like you have, if you don't get it taken care of, you might do those jobs but not any others.

Please don't think I'm trying to scare you. But you need to be checked. and soon!

Praying, but your symptoms do not need to be put off. I agree with Margie that there is someone else who can do the job until you get better. Put yourself and your health first. Go for further tests and treat this before it treats you!
