Hi everyone! I am a young, in her 20's, woman and am possibly going to be moving soon. I will be looking for a new church to go to and feel a little nervous about starting again with new friends and thought I'd start here.

Are there any younger folks on the AFF list?

I'm not sure yet....most likely out of of state. I'm in in midstate Texas, about an hour out of Austin.

I saw some good advive on the back of a car once, probably a good idea to stick with it:

"I wasn't born in Texas, but got here as fast as I could"
or
"American by birth, Texan by the grace of God."

LOL!!!!!!!!! I don't like Texas and a lot of my family/relatives live out in CA, though FL and AL have been options open to me to move to.

Yeah, but I'm not set on leaving yet. I'm waiting on some things and then I'll see.

Texas:great place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit. ;)

I'm a very immature 36. Got to Texas as fast as I could.

I know of a lot of people who are here because it is cheaper. I think that's good, but there are other states that are pretty that don't have the high tax rates like CA or NY.

If you know around what area, and want to know of a few good assemblies I can let you know.

Why the move? Do you have family in AL and FL?

No, I don't have anyone family wise there. But my parents are thinking of moving to either one of those states.

One place that is a "for sure think about" is the Pensacola area in FL. Thanks for asking and helping!

TJJJ: LOL...I had thought about that too, but that's where my sister lives with my niece and brother in law. They're Christians and I thought it might be nice to be near them too.

Sherri: Wellllllll, it will work! =) A lot of my friends have been older than me so age doesn't really matter, but I was kind of looking for younger folks (you know, people in their 20's) to be friends with.

Shawndell: Now that's a good one! I don't think my parents as being old and they're older than that! But I'll have to keep in mind to dinosaur and fossil idea...LOL!

Monkeyman: Ok! =)
