Sherri might could answer this question. I know some are the real thing but a lot are not. Send Sherri a PM. Blessings to you.
We have a program called, Feed a family. It has helped several needy families have food. For a while every Saturday we had a soup kitchen for the hungry but because of lack of means it is closed for the tie being...over half the world goes to bed hungry every night.

And although it's in the USA, don't forget Tupelo Children's Mansion.

They can always use donations and they help lots of kids.

I sponsored a child for a long while through Feed the Children. I know they are legitimate, but some of the others I'm a little leery of. Christian Children's Fund is a good one too though.

Samaritan's Purse, a Franklin Graham organization, is an excellent place to give to as well.
