I have that video and watch it quite often. Did you notice the rapt attention of the people around him?

My pastor of 23 years. This family's love and ministry have been used by God in our family to make what was a potential tragedy something very beautiful instead. Just a Sunday night service is like sitting in the throne room. Definitely the best of the best!

I love Murrell Ewing's singing and preaching. I have an audio tape of a message he preached at General conference in 1985 ... "Saturday's Heroes." Man, what a message that was! I don't remember hearing it live, but I found it a few years later and ... I've listened to that probably over 100 times or more. Used to play it at night when I went to bed. I would recommend that message if you can find it. I even had to do "open-tape" surgery when it was eaten by a walkman ... nearly gave me a heart attack.
Great man ... great ministry.

Here is one of my favorites..."Where Did The Wind Go? Who Stopped The Rain?"...I Only Remember Just Whispering a Name...Storms don't decide how long they will stay. When God says, "That's Enough," they just go away!

As for how he's doing? Bishop Ewing preached last night at the home church in Lake Charles and he did preach one more message! He is definitely not down for the count!

I love to hear Br. Ewing sing and preach. He has one of the most unique voices I have ever heard. Along with his singing, he is one of the best preachers, too.
ME is defiintely one of a kind and a great man. I really start to feel my age when I look around and see all of the men who were at their peak in the 1970's when I was young now elderly or passed on.
