Yes, I would think it would be very useful. I know a lot of school teachers use it. It will cut out letters and different shapes.

The Cricut message board is very informative.

My wife has one and she loves it. She has done a lot around the church with it. While I don't know a lot about it, I do know these two things:

1. She loves it and finds it very useful

2. Instead of buying all those cartridges, she found a computer program that will allow you to cut anything on your computer (kind of like printing). Therefore, you can use all your fonts on your computer including things like wingdings and so forth...thereby saving a lot of money

3. She also found out that the local sign company cannot use the whole role of their vynals...she gets the scrapes and uses them instead of buying a whole bunch of new ones.

Yes, it's called Sure Cuts a Lot. I don't have it yet, but plan to get it. Much cheaper than buying all of the cartridges!

My wife got it a lot cheaper then the link you provided...while you will never realize it reading this I am going to take a moment and see if I can find the receipt.

Okay, found it...see it didn't take that long. She (really I) paid $59.99 and she got both the download and the CD. Go to candaCraft.com I'm not sure, but may have gotten it off ebay. anyway their email is service@candacraft.com
