I love beans... and I absolutely love to cook too. I like to cook and see the happiness on everyone's faces. Problem is, I love to eat what I cook too. :) Sometimes that is not so good. :sad

I like Campbells "Bean with Bacon" soup, though I am not supposed to eat it. I also love their Split Pea soup too.

I love to cook also!

My family enjoys beans any way they can be cooked, except for my husband, he WILL NOT eat soup.

However, if I prepare soup and tell him that I made that "bean" dish, he will eat it. LOL

I had a friend who loved to eat bean soup at least once a week!
Once a week I tended to avoid him at all costs!:foottap

Do I love bean soup?

Nope.

Then again, I can't stand anything with the word "soup" in it. :)

Beef! It's whats for dinner.

I really like Bean Soup...

But homemade bean soup and any kind of soup out of a can....

Those are two different threads. No comparison whatsoever.

I love 15 beans... I make that often, I put in tomato and sausage or some type of pork. Doesn't last long at my house.

Same here. When it comes to soups and chilis it is hard to pin me down to a recipe because I usually just empty the fridge into the pot.

I freeze leftover meats, even if it a small piece of steak or chicken, because when I get enough... into the pot with it! Same with the 1/4 bottle of steak or bbq sauce and etc etc.

But fridge soup always comes out good, and always has some beans in it one way or the other...:thumbsup

My children loved for me to read the Stone Soup fable to them when they were younger.

They loved how the strangers tricked the people of the town into making soup for all to share.

There was also a good lesson to be learned from the story.
