I would like to thank David and Diana Thomas (Fresh Well Media) for putting together the team to video the reunion and begin the process of producing this DVD. Although we’ve had major disagreements and breakdowns in communication on the business side of this project, we both wanted this project to be a blessing to all JCM Alumni and friends.

Thank you all for your patience in waiting for the release of this DVD! We tried to capture, as well as possible, the wonderful spirit and friendship that was at the reunion.

Congratulations for Pianoman perservering through this nightmare. Thank heavens for his patience and deep pockets! LOL!!

My only regret about the DVD is that volume one is mainly the singspiration which did not have as balanced a representation of UPC alumni as the overall reunion did. It is still a very cool DVD though with some great singing that will bring back a lot of memories for anyone from the early days of JCM.

I might add that many singers from the UPCI or conservative ranks were invited to participate in the singspiration, but declined because they didn't want to be "marked" as collaberating with ex-UPC liberals.

Honestly, I don't blame them. I would hate for someone to possibly be marked, and lose their livelihood because of a college reunion. :)
