Avatar problems

Everytime I try to upload an av I get a message that says Invalid File. It's a 120 x 113 3.8kb JPG. Any suggestions?

Every so often I change my avatar but I have been unable to for some time now.

I just tried to change my avatar a few minutes ago.
I tried to go back to one I had before and I got the message that it was an invalid file.
It worked before.
How come it won't work now?

P.S. I thought I'd give the Verbal Bean look a rest and start looking like George Clooney (or as he's known a few miles upriver from here "Georgie")

I just tried changing mine as well not knowing that people were having issues. Now I can't upload a new one. I cannot even link to one I have on Photo bucket.

"Usable pics have two limitations. Pixel size and file size. (In most cases 120 x 120 pixels, and 9.8 KB.) Your pic must fit BOTH of those parameters to be able to upload to the forum."

I'm just so computer dense I have no idea if the pic fits the parameters, or how to find out.

Can you send it to me in an email? If you use Outlook you can send it to me by clicking on 'Attach File', browsing your computer and adding the image to the email.
