"Invalid File"
My file is 119x119 pixels and is only 4k big. It's a .jpg file. Why is it an invalid file?

I got the same thing repeatedly yesterday. Never did fix it.

Anyone ever find a fix to this??? I've tried repeatedly with no results! How do I get a profile photo or Avatar? I've done both by saving the image to desktop and attaching, and by designating a URL through FTP. Need help!

This is what I got when I tried the URL route: Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file. Otherwise, I got "invalid file"... using JPG, GIF, etc and all super-small files.

Anyone?
I have been unable to load attachments to posts and unable to change my avatar. This problem has been going on for some time. Maybe the administrators are unaware of it.
How could we contact an administrator and let them know about this problem?

I'd assume they read the posts? :) Hopefully. Glad to hear it wasn't just user error.

Not always. We can't always read every single post.
If there's a problem that needs special attention such as this, you're better off to look on the list of forum leaders-- and send one of us a PM.
I'm an administrator, and was completely unaware of the issue. I'll let Prax know so he can check on it.
I also had an issue. This is the error that I'm receiving:
Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Welcome to AFF. Since this is only your second post I assume that you are new. I see that you live in the same state that I do.
As far as uploading pictures, something has been wrong for some time and people have not been able to add pictures as attachments or as an avatar. I don't know if the Administrators are aware of this problem yet or if they are working on a fix.
