Thanks for all of your prayers. A truck pulled out in front of him while he was at 65mph. He said that all he kept thinking as he was barrel rolling down the center stripe - "Why wont' I stop rolling?" lol

The hospital said they are very astonished he came away from the accident with not ONE broken bone. That was a total miracle! He has cuts and gashes, hands and legs are bandaged up. Wish he had worn his gloves. He usually does.

Anyway, they will put him in the whirlpool this morning and I'm thinking he will be released later today.

While he was being taken to the hospital, my mother was being taken as well. She is doing well also and will go home today.

So much this week!!! My uncle passed away and my sister's son (24 years old) had some episodes of seizures or a stroke. He is still in the hospital. They don't know what is wrong with him and why his heart and blood pressure stay normal during an episode. Pray for Garrett!

Thanks so much. Garrett is still not being released. Have no idea what is going on with that. Poor guy, so handsome and helpless!! My sister hasn't slept in her own bed for a week.

My mother will never be totally okay as she has a weak heart, but it was her blood pressure that caused the problems yesterday and she does have some leaky valves. Don't know what they do about that.

My poor son! Well, he can't use the palms of his hands for some time. He was scheduled to be laid off this past Thursday and was passed by on that, but now, he might be! He's still hasn't been released from the hospital.

Yes, a whole lot going on this week. I am leaving my son in the hands of his roommates and leaving town in the morning! I need a break. Two of my sisters live closer to my mother and will take care of her.

I called my son's girlfriend and told her to make sure that she runs by his house and cleans the tub before he soaks in it. There is no way a bunch of guys could have a clean bathroom! LOL!

One good thing happened today - my daughter and her husband put in a bid on a house and were accepted! The owner is paying all closing costs! :thumbsup I'm very happy for them. They are so excited!

I was so happy about that. She has been hurt in the past and is in need of healing. She's come a very long way!

Thank you, Sherri. Garrett is actually my sister's son. He is still not doing well. He is home now and in a wheel chair. His left foot is turned sideways and he can't use his left arm. They are sending him to a different neurologist. I am very sad for this!

My son has lost his job over this accident because he can't work. Here is a picture of his hands. I will post that further down for those that want to opt out of viewing. He just came by and we were applying for unemployment so that he can have some income while he is healing. I didn't take pictures of his legs. LOL!

Well, actually it does get worse. The paper on the table next to him is letting him know that he has not paid a hefty traffic violation and if he doesn't pay it, will be arrested. Looks like he might be moving back home. LOL!

Thank you!!! Please pray that they find a doctor that will find what is wrong!!! They have taken so many tests - with and without dye - and can find nothing! Their Physical Therapist says it's too risky to work with him, so now my sister doesn't know what to do or where to go. I'm so sad for them!

Thanks for all of your prayers! My son just called and got a new job for $2 more an hour!!! His hands or not quite healed up, but he doesn't start for another week and they should be fine by then. He can wear cotton gloves under his leather gloves.

I also just saw this thread. Yikes! Seeing that pic of your son's hands reinforces why I wear my armoured jacket and gloves even though some guys make fun of me. If I go down I really would like to keep my skin. I know how bad it hurts to have just a little skin come off so I can't even imagine the pain your son has gone through. I am just thankful he was not hurt any worse. At 65 mph that is indeed a miracle.

So sad about your newphew Garrett. I will be praying for him. They need to get to that other neurologist ASAP.
