I was just wondering if anyone here attended AMC and if so how was it?

my son went one night.
I also am curious as to how the World Wide Pentecostal Wrestling Fellowship has affected the AMC conference. There is only so much money to spend and time to travel to conferences so I wonder if when faced with hard choices some cons and ultra cons have had to choose one over the other and if so how that affected attendance at AMC.

That suprises me because I thought that the WPF was a little bit too moderate for a lot of AMC people.

WOW the WPF and moderate in the same sentence. And who would think you could use two acronyms in a single sentence that made you think of wrestling?

There was between 900(lowest night) and 1200(highest night). The WPF might have had some effect but really the rooms were higher this year and the economy surely had an impact. The WPF meeting being so close to AMC did not help. But as one poster said they are more moderate than the AMC crowd as a whole. However 3 of the founders were there including the Chairman.

Next time, they should just put it on Pay-Per-View and make a tidy profit!

....and have places like Buffalo Wild Wings air it on a Saturday night instead of the latest UFC.

I think it is really two different fellowships as a whole...at least that is my opinion from those that I have talked to.

Which two? The AMF (is that the current name?) and the 'still ultra-conservative, but internet allowing' group?

The AMF is NOT connected to either group.

I know they're not officially connected, but many of them attend AMC, don't they?

I think the WPF is a good thing and many are ex upc I understand. If they could not work with the UC maybe they can work better as another group...time will tell...my son sure likes the WPF.

it was also changed from March to May and that may have had an effect. Overall my husband and son enjoyed it.
