Any news on Ferd?
I know he had surgery and was on briefly after that but he hasn't been on in a while now.
Pray he is doing well.

Yes, his absence is duly noted on the political threads too. :sad

Praying for ferd....
I saw this thread and called Ferd. He is alive and kicking and will post an update on his medical condition shortly.
I told Ferd that AFF without some posts from Ferd on medication is just not AFF!!!!

Nothing like an MIA thread to bring a feller out of hiding!
I did have back surgery and Ive been on so much Lortab that I cant even post!
The surgery went well, I dont have any of the pain associated with my back problem. It seems my doctor took care of that, however, the pain related to the surgery is still pretty bad.
I am following Drs (and Mrs. Ferds) orders and staying in bed most of the time, only out when I have to do my walking the Dr. said I needed to do. If all goes well, I will be working from home starting Monday and back in the office the week after that.
Please keep praying for me to get over this fast. The boys dont really understand why daddy cant pick them up or why I have to stay in bed. Levi understands that I am sick but he doesnt really get it.... parents know what I mean by that.
Also yesterday was tuff. Levi had his first ever T-ball practice. I missed it and that really was tuff to take. I just have to be well enough by the 20th to make his first game!
Jack has had a BIG week. He is walking now and i mean all the time. He is no longer taking a bottle, sippy cup only now, and is transitioning from formula to Whole Milk (somebody say pay raise!)
Thanks for the concern and certainly for the prayer. I will do better about checking in...

Glad you are doing better, Ferdinand!
Sorry you missed your son's first T-ball game! We loved going through all of that with our son, especially, because he was a dynamo pitcher in Little League! They made All Stars every year! :thumbsup

Hmmmm....sounds to me like you need to go back and read the UPC positoin paper on organized sports!

I'm charismatic! :D
BTW, we chose to allow him to participate because our coaches didn't practice on Wednesday afternoon nor did they use or allow foul language to be used. :thumbsup

I bet you they did use "foul" language! (I have watched some T Ball and Little League in my day and there are lots of "fouls" called along with "strikes".)
