I just saw a new CD by Heather Rigdon (Dan's daughter) - it's a jazz CD and she sounds sort of like Diana Krall - that genre anyway. Very pretty and smooth, just from the clips online. I had no idea she had made an album!! I haven't seen her in a couple of years.

She's been in Nashville for several years now working on her music career. She is a great singer.

We grew up together (teenage years) in Plano. She's a good friend.

We grew up together (teenage years) in Plano. She's a good friend.She's always been a very sweet girl. I met her at Christ Church when she was running around with Shi-Anne, John Ragsdale's sister.

I remember Shi-anne! She went on a ski trip with our youth group one year.

We grew up together (teenage years) in Plano. She's a good friend.

My daughter and son-in-law attended Dan's church in Plano back in 1983. Dan's mother is in our church in St. Louis area and my wife who passed away received the Holy Ghost in Calvin Rigdon revival in the little town of Pana, Illinois where my aunt was pastor. When I was young Calvin Rigdon was my idol. I loved to hear and watch him preach.

Dan came to the Plano church after Anthony Mangun left, we were members at the time.

Watched the Rigdon girls grow up, one of them was born in the same hospital at about the same time as one of ours.

Still see Dan and Gayla once or twice a year, the have joined us family reunions, and they visit Coventry www.coventryreserve.org every now and then. Great folks.

Sherri, Did she marry a Titan? This is the first I had heard of this but I have not spoken to Rags in a couple of years probably.

Now I think they're in Atlanta, or somewhere in Georgia. Not sure if he's still playing pro or not. Great Christian guy!

She and Calvin introduced my parents, when my dad was in the army overseas. My mom was attending SIU and lived with the Rigdons and babysat Danny when he was little.

I remember the Mulvaney's pastoring in Pana, I think.

That's like saying someone from Tenn plays high school football...but they have never played in Texas!!!! :)

Pastor Dan is a great guy, Pastor, and needs a hair-cut!!! (just kidding)
He used to pastor my eldest bro when my bro was his music director. (He had his hands full too, sheesh)
I checked out his daughter's website, I will be downloading some Jazz tunes from her. Now when she can play the piano like Diana, then I'll listen to some comparisons:)

Wow. She does sound like Diana Krall. Very nice, I'll have to buy that one.

Wow is right. She has great tone. I just downloaded her cd off of iTunes. She does sound similar to Diana Krall. You can also hear her complete songs on Pandora.

"Young & Naive"? She may be naive but at 35 no longer young!!! LOL!!! I was really surprised to see how old she is. I was introduced to her once at Christ Church a few years ago and thought she was in her early 20's. So even if that was a few years ago I did not expect for her to be over 30.
