I'm starving! Today is the liquid diet day preceding the colonoscopy tomorrow.

Since breakfast (jello), I've had water, juice and pop.

Now it's time to start the gallon jug of Nu-Lytely.

Think of me in my misery:sad

The procedure is at 8am tomorrow morning.

From what I've heard and seen the prep is worse than the procedure. Thank God for versid and fentanyl. :)

I tried twice to do the test and took 2 Dulcolax and about died. I threw up, ect ect...I told the Dr. I would wait until I am 60 to do that.

I survived! Shouldn't there be an award?

If you ever drink the "flavored" cocktail and have a choice +++++DO NOT select pineapple. It was awful.


Everything is ok. They want another one in 10 years. (the last one was'96)

isn't there something besides that Nu-Lytely stuff that you can take for prep? That stuff is AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! I have never tasted anything as disgusting in my life. When I did it, I only got down about a glass and a half. Definitely NOT the whole gallon. Seemed to do the job, thank the Lord, tho.

I'm waiting. I'm not gonna have another of those tests until they come up with a better way to clean you out.

It really is bad isn't it.
There's a pill on the market but most clinics won't use it.
About 5 yrs ago my brothers' prescription was the pills. Took 2 pills, an hoour later 2 more pills..............same results. Not sure why this method is in disfavor.
