Please Remember the Campbell family in prayer. Last night going home from church Sis Barb (75 yrs) hit an icy patch and slid into a tree. It took quite a while for rescuers to get her from the car. She is listed in Serious condition and has multiple fractures. He husband Royle (78) most likely did not have his seat belt on and is listed in critical condition with the family being given no hope of his pulling through this. He has multiple injuries with lots of internal bleeding, especially in his brain. Their daugther Connie Phillips, husband Mike pastors in Vidor TX is supposed to arrive at 11PM tonight in Ohio. Their other daughter Bev and son Dan are with the parents. This family truly is in need of prayer. They have told them that it is a matter of time before Royle pass on. The only good news is that both are baptized and filled with His Spirit and have lived for Him all their lives.
Please keep this family in your prayers.

UPDATE

Barb is not going to need surgery (the doctors believe). She has several broken bones but should heal physically with no problems. Royal has stabilized but is not coming around. He is still unresponsive and they believe he is going to get no better. They have asked the family to try and make a decision about life support within the next 7 to 14 days.

Also have another request. Sis Sheilds, mother to pastor Jeremy Sheilds, and wife of the late Eld Rex Sheilds, has been told she has cancer and without treatment they have not given her long to live. Her cancer is in both lungs and her liver. Please keep Sis Sheilds in prayer and the family.

The family chose to stop life support and let nature take its course. God received Royal home at about 3:30PM today. He served his King faithfully for many years. Barb still has a long way to go to be whole again. Barb, their children, and grandchildren will continue to need our prayers in the coming days.
God grant them peace and comfort them during this time.
