Pray if it is the Lord's will that my twin Brother does not have to return to Iraq. He was under the assumption that he had filed all the proper paper work
to be released from the Army after he had served his committed time in a honorable manner. At this point they are trying to keep him in based on a technicality in order to send him back to Iraq. He has served a tour over there already and if it be the Lord's will, I hope he doesn't have to go again.

Will do!!

Thanks for your prayers. The fact of the matter is that I don't think my family has had the oppertunity to prepare for this. My Brother got out of the active Military in 2004 and joined the reserves, because of the job required him to be away from home a lot, and his work schedule sometimes made it difficult for him to be at the mothly weekend meetings, he put in a request for an undue hardship discharge from the Reserves, he thought the process of the discharge had been completed........according to what his wife told me he has not been paid as a reserve member in over a year. But come to find out they are telling him now he neglected to mail back a single form. Based on the "Stop-Loss" policy, they can't process it now. They called today out of the blue saying that he has to report next week for activation. He is currently out of state because of his job and his wife has been an emotional wreck due to having to deal with this unexpectedly and not having time to prepare herself for a lenghthy seperation. In addition to all this, my Dad is a very emotional man in bad health and this seems to be taking a toll on him as well.

Whatever the case, no matter what one thinks of the war, I have to tell myself that God will somehow use all of this for his glory.

Lord God, in the Name of Jesus, we bring this twin brother before your

throne. You see this situation and know all there is to know concerning

this matter. If You would see fit, Lord, and it would please You to do so,

would You intervene for this brother, this family, in Jesus Name!!

We humbly ask that Your Will would be done and we give You thanks

for the answer, in Jesus Name!

Blessings,

Falla39

If they have not been paying him I think he has grounds to fight this. Why wasn't he paid IF he was still in reserves?
