She is 100 years old and not expected to make it through the weekend. She has lived a long life, so I understand that she can't live forever.

What a spunky lady! LOL!

I would ask that you would, especially, pray for my mother. She is very close to her mother and this will be a big loss in her life. My mother has a weak heart and is not feeling well today.

Thank you!!!

WOW!! 100 years! That is a long, long life, Pressing-On. Good for your grandma. I hope that she was healthy and that her mind was sharp right up till the end.

I will most certainly ask God to comfort your Mom during this difficult time. Doesn't matter how old they are, or how old you are, there is just something special about that mother-daughter or mother-son relationship. For many of us, there is no other like it and never will be there another to take the place of it. Jesus understood that. He made special arrangements for his own mother when his death was imminent. :heart

Margie,
She has been sharp in her mind until the end. She sent me a birthday card with her perfect cursive handwriting. Back in their day, they practiced and practiced. It was so important to them to have perfect penmanship.

I was at her house one day and told her I would stay and visit for a while. She said, "Oh no you are not. The Longhorns are getting ready to play and I don't want anyone talking to me while the game is on!" :toofunny

Anyway, another sister is calling to report on her. Thanks for your prayers! I'm not ready to lose my mother!! Thanks for your post! :friend

She told my uncle that she wanted to live to be 100 and see the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl. He told her, "Mother you'll have to live another 100 years to see the Cowboys win the Super Bowl!" LOL!

I love you Mee-Maw!!! :tissue
