I just joined so I thought I'd be polite and introduce myself. I'm 32, female, single, working in IT and living in WI. God's been good to me and my family. We received the Holy Ghost as a family at a revival with Bro. Bustard, and were baptized together right after. That was back when I was 13. These days I'm working hard to live a simple life and homestead on my little city lot....tending my own little Eden :) It gives me plenty of time to think and pray and keep my head on straight.

I found this forum searching for good reading recommendations and am looking forward to getting to know some of you better.

I'm just outside Milwaukee :)

I spent the first half of my life in the Wausau area then 5 years just North of Madison and now reside in Mesa, AZ.

My blood does run Green and Gold!

Nice! I plan to move South eventually. Although not towards the desert lol...looking forward to a better growing season. Just have to wait until my career advances a little, there are a few directions I could go that include telecommuting :)

I lived in Wisconsin from the time I was 6 or 7 years old until I left in the fall of 1956 to attend the Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN. I lived in a small town called Union Grove which is about 15 miles inland from Racine. I think it is about 30 miles southwest of Milwaukee.

I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on Thursday October 27, 1955 at Elim Tabernacle (UPC) in Milwaukee.

I received the Holy Ghost Baptism on Pentecost Sunday May 20, 1956 at Bethel Tabernacle (UPC) in Racine.

What a small world. I'll be visiting Elim soon. I moved here recently from the Oconomoc area and am in the midst of Church hopping trying to find my new home. :)

Welcome to AFF.

I've never lived in WI but I have many relatives all through WI on both sides of the family. My mother was born in WI.

In the 50's a group of ministers from the UPC and PAW rented a campgound near Trego, WI and we had CHURCH! Many great memories of those summers at what was termed Bible camp. In fact I was baptized and received the Holy Ghost there in July 1960.
