The Kansas City International Airport has added several foot-washing basins in restrooms to accommodate a growing number of Muslim taxicab drivers who requested the facilities to prepare for daily Islamic prayer, WND has learned.
The move concerns airport police who worry about Middle Eastern men loitering inside the building. After 9/11, the airport beefed up its police force to help prevent terrorist attacks.

"Why are we constructing places of worship for them inside our airports?" said an airport official who requested anonymity. "Why are we catering to their rituals? We don't do it for any other religion."

Other major airports also are dealing with increased demands from Muslim cabdrivers.

For instance, cabbies at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport recently caused a stir when they refused to carry passengers possessing alcoholic beverages or accompanied by seeing-eye dogs. Alcohol is forbidden in Islam, and dogs are considered unclean.

It is amazing to me that it seems AFTER 9-11 we have become even more accomodating to Muslims.

Agreed. There is a Mosque in Michigan somewhere I believe that plays the Islamic call to prayer 5 times a day BLASTING through loud speakers....they have the cities OK to do that.

Now what if it was that black Pentecostal church and 5 times a day they played loud music and worshiped....or even once or twice a day.

Coming to a city near you may be another minaret with a loud speaker and a bunch of idiots caving in to their demand to allow they room they would deny a Christian group.

I'm sorry that you don't like the idea of allowing religious freedom to non-Christian religions but the first amendment of the American Constitution does guarantee the free exercise of religion. This is just a natural consequence of that decidedly secular document. It is hypocritical of you to want your religious freedom but to want to deny that right to religions that are vile and offensive.

Are you sure you want to continue considering some earthly nation your nation, your home, a place deserving of your allegiance? Are you sure you wouldn't prefer to look to Heaven, knowing that your redemption draweth nigh?
