If there is life on other planets, then maybe some of the UFO sightings are real.
There are educated people who are convinced that other life forms have already made contact with earth and have been doing so since ancient times.

There is life on other planets. There is a secret program under Cheyenne mountain that has been in operation for the last decade or so where they travel to other planets through an alien piece of technology called a star gate...

It seem a little presumptuous on our part to make the decision within ourselves that with all of the billions of galaxies out there like ours that this is the only place in all of the universe that God ever created life.

If they are out there, I wonder do they know my Jesus?

If God did create life in other galaxies and/or on other planets then I don't think it would be too assumptive to believe that He probably did a redemptive work with His creation there as well.

I think it's possible that there's life on other planets. But first we have to find them.
As for "visits," I'm a doubter. So far as we know, the speed of light is the absolute upper limit for velocity in the universe. It would take a LONG TIME to get from "there" to here. The nearest star is over 26,000,000,000,000 miles away (4.2 light years).
One of my friends is an astronomy geek. He is of the opinion that intelligent life would probably blow itself to smithereens before it could get to the point of sending an investigative probe to other stars.

I like the way this is worded. I can respect a healthy skepticism based on logical reasoning.

If they needed a redemptive work, you mean? Maybe they didn't have a "fall", like we did.

Maybe we're the only life that has a soul? Look around you here on Earth! Plenty of life here, besides "us". But only humans needed (and got) redemption, far as I know. Right? Maybe other life doesn't need redemption because they don't have eternal souls/spirits. They could even be intelligent, and way more intelligent than humans, I suppose. But intelligence doesn't require a soul, does it?

If there is a planet with people who never fell like we did, would anyone ever die there? Would they have their own tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

Really. Wrong universe.
Besides, in that universe Prax is more of a "bald headed "goth" Romulan (see the new Star Trek) than a Vulcan.
When he comes out of Cheyenne mountain from the "Stargate Universe" Prax is more of a Jaffa from the planet Chulak. With the Obama admin's discontinuation of the Stargate program, Prax has been left to scramble around like the rest of us.

Anybody who has ever visited a planetarium or even just seen the opening sequence of that Jodie Foster Alien movie I can't think of the name of should believe in the very real possibility of Aliens.
To understand how many planets are in the Universe and to think that we are the only one God put life on is pretty presumptive.

The Goorlap "people" of PX-99.ert, lacking opposable thumbs with which to pick fruit from a tree, were given the "test" of choosing whether or not to be absorbed by a kitchen sponge.
Sadly, they too failed and fell from grace.

I soo believe in life on other planets..and yes they've visited Earth. I've read some of their posts here :ursofunny
Seriously... I hope there isn't. This world is crazy enough with us around. But after seeing Men in black a few years ago, I may be leaning toward the idea of there being other life forms. .......... maybe not :)

You better thank your lucky stars Jesus came to our world.

Wouldn't that act be "astrology"? Thanking "the stars" for something?

Indeed. Good point.
Maybe God has created life on other planets but after us... he called it quits. :)

I'd love to be the first Christian to baptize an alien. :)

It's from "Signs". Water makes its skin sizzle and blister, and enough water (like, say, submerging!) would kill it. But then, it's so nasty, it doesn't deserve to be saved anyway. :lol
