Does anyone think kids should not have Homework after school? By the time we get home and do all my sons homework it is 9:00. And he get so tired of it and I can't really blame him I mean he has already been in school for 8 hours as it is.They bring home so much stuff for homework...So is there anyone on here that thinks that they should not have homework..

Considering how the public school system works, and how little one-on-one attention kids get, homework seems like the only real chance they would get to absorb and practice the material. Therefore, I'm a strong supporter of homework.
Our kids are homeschooled, and they still have *homework.* Sometimes there are extra assignments and projects, but usually homework only consists of regular work that wasn't completed during regular school hours.

I think homework should only be work that's not completed during class and studying for tests.
Every night assigning homework does seem to be a bit of an overload.

Grade School teachers can go overboard sometimes. High School teachers give homework but most the time students can find time to do it at school if they want. At least that was the case for the schools I've been to.

The amount of Homework can be ridiculous sometimes. I had a teacher that gave way to much one year.
