I had the privilege of spending a couple of years in the same church as Sister Luna (Yadon) a few years ago. She's a peach of a lady.

Bro. Sam,
How wonderful to hear these old songs by the Luna's. I used to hear them
years ago on Harvestime.
"Prayer Changes Things" is one of my favorites. The words come alive as I recall
what a difference prayer has made in my life and in the lives of our family. To the
6th generation!
Thank you for posting them.

Sam,
Do you remember a song entitled, "Tears Are A Language GOD Understands".
Can't remember who sang it but I believe it was sung on Harvestime also.

If these are the Luna's that spent time in Alaska in the 60's / 70's then I remember them well. As a young child they were some of my favorites. They were excellent singers and musicans. he played the mandelin which I found fascinating as a kid. It seemed like a kid sized guitar. He also played the banjo. Very much a treat for Pentecostals in Alaska back then!

I did not listen to Harvestime much. To me it was too pompous.

I do remember the song "Tears are a language God understands."
I don't remember who sang it though.
This video is the Booth Brothers.

When I think of the song, "Tears Are A Language God Understands"

I think of John 10:35 where it says that Jesus wept.
And I think of Him grieving along with His friends.

I think of Isaiah 53 where it says that He is a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

and I think of Isaiah 63:7-10 where it speaks of God being afflicted along with His people in their affliction and how He actually carried them.

They were in Alaska.
My wife's family was good friends with them and I can remember meeting them several times.
