Which version do we choose for AFF?

Forum Runner currently supports vBulletin v3.6.x, vBulletin v3.7.x, vBulletin v3.8.x, vBulletin v4.0.x, vBulletin v4.1.x, and phpBB v3.0.x.

I think someone from admin needs to first register AFF with them. if this has been done what category did you put AFF in?

looked under society - religion and no AFF

That's exactly where I put it, but it's not complete yet. You won't see it until I verify it. Which is after it's installed on the server.

I'll let everyone know when it's completed. :highfive

Sweet. Thanks.

And you look so much better without that nasty Steelers jersey.

Okay folks...we're ready to roll! Look for Forum Runner in your phone's apps. There are two versions, one is a FREE read-only version. The other is $1.99, but with some sweet features, mostly the Push Notifications. :thumbsup

You can read about it at the link that John gave, www.forumrunner.net, and click the Push Notifications tab to learn more.

Look for our forum under 'Society' and then 'Religion'. :bliss

The free, read-only will treat you as a guest which means no access to the Debate Room as we have that forum set up for registered members only. With the paid version, you will be allowed to login and have full access.

Rocks! Looks great on my Galaxy Captivate (Android). I did, however, try to create this thread using it and got an error about being unable to create a thread due to some set limit (sorry I don't have the exact error). So you may want to look into that.

Thanks again, admin!

Sorry. I maybe should have posted this under the Sticky. And for reference, I am using the paid version.

Thanks Fritz...I'll look into it and see what I can find.

Fritz, I don't see anything at either Forumrunner, or vBulletin that anybody else has already reported like this.

Can you try it again and let me know what the exact error is? Forumrunner has a forum to report bugs to. ClemsonJeeper is VERY good at helping there. Very prompt service.

Really? I'm seeing the opposite in user's comments on vBulletin and Forumrunner sites. :dunno

Here's one article that I found that lists the Tapatalk problems. (It's from 2010, so some of those may have already been addressed.)

I think the fact that ClemsonJeeper at Forumrunner is RIGHT THERE to address any and all problems immediately is a HUGE plus. If anyone has a problem, post it there. :thumbsup

Will this work for Verizon's LG Vortex? I just got that phone and really don't know a whole lot about how to use it yet.

I disabled the product that was causing this interference.

It should be good to go now. :thumbsup

Quick search says your phone runs an Android 2.2 OS. Is that right?

I'm running Android 2.1 on my Fascinate, so you should qualify...but I'm not an expert. So please be sure before you purchase. :thumbsup

Thank you for taking the time to research this, Mrs. I would have no idea even WHAT to search for. This is all new territory for me, so I really appreciate your help.

You're welcome. If you go to your 'Market' app, you can do a search for Forum Runner. There are two different ones: Free & $1.99 versions. The free version is the 'read-only' version. If you won't be posting from your phone, that would be worth 'free'. :winkgrin

I dowloaded the $1.99 version to my Iphone last night.

Very, very cool.

I'm gonna pay the $1.99 even if I never post from my phone just because I might want to sometime :)

I stopped out at the Verizon store and asked their help. I didn't want to pay for something if just getting on the internet would do the trickm, since that's free. They told me that the forum server must require it. Ok. $1.99 is not that much :)

I could get the forum thru my internet browser, but it was a pain in the patootie trying to navigate because it was so small. And I kept hitting wrong buttons by mistake. I was just waiting for that accident to come along where I banned someone or something by mistake! :lol
