She's been having contractions since last night. The baby is fine and they don't think she's trying to go into labor, but she's in the Women's Evaluation Unit and they are monitoring her and the baby.

They've given her meds to relax the big muscles and a pill to keep her heart pumping at normal speed - - in hopes that the contractions will stop.

They said the uterus is irritated, but all tests have come back okay so they aren't sure why.

She's only 25.5 weeks - - God needs to intervene.

My wife is having same trouble and has been for a while. May the Lord help your daughter in Jesus name!

They sent her home after the meds kicked in and her contractions subsided. Gave her a script for meds to keep the contractions away.

Praying they continue to stay away and she makes it full term.

Praying for your wife too Onefaith2.

Thanks for your prayers!

Thanks everyone!

After learning more about it - it seems to be a condition that she will have to deal with for the rest of the preganacy and any other pregancies she will have in the future.

It's called Irritable Uterus (IU) and it's like being in constant labor with no changes - - ugh!

Hopefully, she will be able to rest and the medication will keep them at bay so that she won't be in so much pain. Having IU does increase your chances of pre-term labor, but not always.

So, I'm believe with all of you that God will craddle that sweet little girl and keep her where she needs to be until she's fully developed - in Jesus' name.

Thanks to everyone that is praying for Tarah and the baby (and me)! She went home last night and I hope is still sleeping now. The baby is fine, everything checked out okay. Severe sharp pains still not diagnosed, but hopefully, will subside.

She has irritable uterus and will have to deal with that for the remainder of her pregnancy, but seems that the medication is working for that. Thanks again for all the prayers!

What a blessing to have friends and family to be there for you!
