Just remember do not say "With a knick-knack, paddy whack,
Give a dog a bone," at any point in the interview.

I don't get it. Remember that I'm at least one decade younger than you. :)

Today I received a call from the company. I was notified that an assesment was sent to my inbox. I was instructed to call the company after the completion of the assesment. When I returned the call I was told that I passed the tests and we scheduled an over-the-phone interview for tomorrow morning.

It is from an episode of Cheers where Norm has been all but promised a job but then screws it up.

I used to watch thay show. Don't remember the content. I used to stare at "Rebecca." She was a fox. Now she looks like she ate the fox.

Always been stocky. Family thought it was ok to call me "Norm." Come to think of it, the really messed me up...but that's for a different show.

Do you think she was based off of Adam's first wife? She was somewot adrogenous in appearance and she seemed to buck against the will of her husband.

That would appeal to me if her hair was straight.

IF her hair were straight?
How about if it was up in a mighty UPC poof?
Don't you think there would be a long line of guys waiting in line at a typical UPC camp just itching for a chance to make her submit to them?

Did you accept? Or you take one elsewhere?

Did you accept?
I politely declined. I was told to call if I change my mind.

Dag, I was hired today with a different company. After the interview I received the call from the insurance company. I politely declined. I decided that I wanted to hear more about the offer. I called the insurance company and asked if I am guaranteed a salary. Rather than a "yes" or "no" I was told that I'd get a commission from the sales that I make.

I learned the hard way that the answer to the question: "How did you hear about this job?" is NEVER "The Voices."

Berk, I am glad to hear this! How long were you unemployed?
I have never really been unemployed, though I have certainly had some lean times...

I'd say you made a wise choice with the "other" company by declining. Sounds like it was a generic job description where you would only find out details once you accepted or started training.
Ditto the congrats! Hope all works out well for you...
