What Is True Biblical Preaching ?

There is alot of stuff out there in the church world that is supposed to pass for preaching,and alot of it sounds like fluff to me to be quite honest.

How would you define true Biblical preaching ?
What makes a sermon effective ?

There were no recorded sermons from the book of acts, no DVD's or tapes, no microphones; all we have is what we read and what we see with the annointing of God today.

Have you ever heard someone read a text and then the thought for their message didn't fit the text they read from ?

Have you ever heard someone read a text and then the thought for their message didn't fit the text they read from ?

Sure.. it happens a lot. That doesn't mean a text is exclusive to its context. For instance,

the Kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. The context is quite different than preaching exuberant praise and faith to tear down the walls of the enemy. The truth though does remain that strong faith will typically have strong results and strong actions associated with it.
