Wilson and Byzantine

Does anyone have any links to where Nathaniel Wilson is advocating the use of only the Byzantine text? Someone suggested he was speaking against alot of the different translations and I wanted to hear what he has to say. No stone throwing. Anybody?

One doesn't need a degree in a highly specialized field to have an opinion. When things like "Byzantine vs. Alexandrian texts" get mentioned, the debate used to always come down to the "KJV vs. RSV" and other similar debates.

Since NW obviously isn't an expert on this I would imagine anything he might have said may have been to cite the opinions of others who are expert. For most Oneness Pentecostals that usually means quoting "the Baptists."

Dallas Theological Seminary and its respected Bib. Sac. Journal are good places to go for this viewpoint, though I am not aware of NW ever taking a real hard stand on the issue - but then again, I've only met the guy a couple of times many years back and I haven't really been following his blog lately.

There are some interesting conclusions people have on this issue. Some of them I very much disagree with. I am for a more eclectic text. I do not think older is always better though. I tend to agree with Maurice Robinson or Black on Mark 16 and the long or shorter ending. However, the Comma is what it is. An interpolation.
