Let me assure you that have small children and teenagers! You may not think of the
impact the things being promoted to your children today, will have on the grandchildren
and great-grandchildren of tomorrow. But the years pass so swiftly and by the time it
gets to your grands and great-grands, it will be so advanced, it will be hard to fight. Now
is the time to do something.
Many years ago, I walked into our local supermarket (there was only one at the time),
and right as you walked in, there was a large magazine rack with many front covers with
nudity. I stepped over to the little office and asked for the manager. They called him on
the loud speaker and he came, and I asked him to step over to the mazazine rack. I stood
to the side and asked, "Is that not pitiful"! "My children come in here with me many
times. That is not what I want them to see the moment we walk in here". He hung his
head and said, "Yes, Ma'am"! They removed the rack to a different place, not so easily
seen. We do not have to allow these things that are attempted to be pushed on us.
Things are getting worse because LESS people care enough to take a STAND against
the evil days! We fought for our children in many ways while they were growing up. Just
as our late parents fought for us while we were growing up.
Our children are grown now and are teaching their children things that matter and are
valuable. We have done our "training up" and yet there is something we can do for our
grandchildren and great-grands! Support their parents by loving and praying for them!
I think of it as a "Back-up" system.

Ya, it does for a lack of a better word, make me sick. This is why I cannot watch more then a few seconds (and then usually by accident) of TLC's baby beauty contest show, Toddlers & something I can't spell.

A and F has been causing pain to a lot of people for a long time ,as a matter of fact Columbine High School was derisively know by the non "in crowd "as "A and F high school" which led directly to the massacre by the two young men, as revenge for being on the outs with most of the kids.

The blame rests in exactly one place, on the people who pulled the triggers. I believe firmly in personal responsibility. I can go further back and assign reasons to other situations and circumstances, but the blame goes only one place.

Yep, parents and school admin's have no responsibility, we can just..... on people all day, beat them down and whatever happens is their fault. Its this mentality that breeds non stop bullying/suicides in our schools.

Wow. You're seriously misunderstanding what I'm saying here. Or, maybe you're just a little stuck on yourself. You started off blaming the clothes. Parents and school staff do have a responsibility for the wellbeing of their children/students. Clothes really has no such responsibility.
That's definitely not the mentality that I operate by.

I said nothing about clothes, it was the class mentality thing that lead to it being called A&F High.

I assumed by A and F you were referring to Abercrombie and Fitch, a brand of clothing. My apologies for assuming incorrectly.
You seem to be quite upset about something and I'm not sure what it is, but I am quite finished with being the target of your angst. Have a fantastic Sunday and a great week.
