Whoa
So - there are tons of news stories, websites, and twitter posts about how May 21 2011 will be the 2nd coming of Jesus. Yeah? What do YOU think about that?
I kind of agree, the signs do seem to point to the a May 21 Doomsday (http://judgementday2011.com/may-21-doomsday/), but I also question whether or not that is true. I have posted on my facebook and twitter, but want to know what you think? Perhaps you too could do the same (post on twitter and facebook) to find out what your peers are thinking. Are all the earthquakes and disasters around the world just signs that The End of the World is on it's way very soon?
Here is the site that I first found out about it from - JudgementDay2011.com

My thoughts are that on May 22nd I plan to still be going about my life. The same on October 22nd.

Just another false prophet. Jesus is not coming until after the mark of the beast.

I saw those Judgement Day signs are all over Dallas.
Weird.

All I know is that TODAY (April 19, 2011) is the day that Skynet becomes self aware.

How can people be Jesus aware yet not aware of His Word?
He said NO man knows the day or the hour...not even the angels.
That should put to rest the idea of any date.

It will be judgment day for some. Many will breathe their last that day as many have today.
But beyond the standard daily entrance into judgment... Nah.

Harold Camping is a well known false prophet, one which has zero credibility. He is the originator of this nonsense, and should be ignored. On May 22, 2011, he will make yet another excuse as to why his prophecy is wrong.

I've seen those Judgment Day billboards around my city recently too...

The one principle to always keep in mind: When a date is given of a future event, rest assured, it is a false prophecy.

Ahem, well now, let's back up a wee bit. The Bible says:
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Nobody knows, but anybody can predict. Mr. Camping doesn't actually know, because the Father has not told him. Mr. Camping is merely predicting, even though he claims to have figured it out.
Think about this: what if Mr. Camping predicted every single day between now and when Jesus comes back, "He's coming back tomorrow!" Well then, by your logic Jesus could never come back until somebody quit predicting.
I see the Lord up there in heaven, just exasperated as all get out, 'Good grief, would they just stop predicting so I could come back?!?! I was going to come back June 21, 1983 but there's been somebody somewhere predicting every single day since then!'
Anyway, just wanted to point out that wee logic flaw. I have no idea if the Lord is coming back May 21, 2011, and neither does Harold Camping, but that doesn't mean He can't come back on May 21, 2011. I hope He does.
Well, as a pre-trib dispensationalist, I don't know any reason why Jesus could not rapture His church at any moment now.
But, if He doesn't rapture us before May 21, I guess we'll just see what happens on May 21. By the way, is there a specific time period on May 2st or specific time zone this is supposed to happen?

Maybe there will be less traffic on May 22, and the lines at Wal-mart will be shorter after all the people who will take pleasure in the alleged "end of the world" are gone. Oh, better yet, maybe the pizza places can go back to the "30 minutes or it's free" plan that never seemed to be profitable before?

His teachings are that on May 21st the seventh trumpet will sound. Did I miss the first six somewhere ?
What will happen is that the date will come and go and the people will find something that happened that said "Well, we really meant this".

One man has a video online about Camping and said he is watching the news and is holding Camping to his words and will be making youtube videos right up until and after the date arrives. He said he asked the folks who claim Camping cannot be wrong to sign all their possessions over to him and set it for the day after the date Camping predicted. They refused.

The PK's have had to say that several times.
I pulled this sentence from the website "judgementday2011"
"Churches will fill with those who will want to be saved by Jesus after the Rapture (http://judgementday2011.com/may-21-rapture/), but it will be too late for most. The few exceptions need not even be mentioned now since they will be so rare,"
What exceptions ?? Why not mention it ?? If there were a chance after rapture to still be saved wouldn't you want to teach it ??
The exceptions will be Uncle Johnny and Cousin Milly.

Some places are -12.00GMT and some are +13.00GMT, I also wonder what time zone he's using cos, the whole world cannot be on May 21 at the same time...:highfive
