I am fairly new to the Apostolic church. I starting attending one about 2 years ago (previously I was southern Baptist). I was baptized in Jesus' name on February 22, 2010.
Life has been amazing.
God has been making some awesome changes in me over the past year and a half. I am a completely different person now!
I have Asperger's Syndrome and in the past it held me back, but now I can see God using it. I have been able to help others with AS as well as families dealing with autism. It has become a ministry of sorts. I even wrote a book about being a spirit-filled Christian with Asperger's Syndrome!
Anyway, I wanted to connect with other like-minded individuals. I hope that this is a good experience for me. Most people with AS struggle with interpersonal communication. Message boards and social media like FaceBook can be disastrous for me (FYI, it might not be a good idea to tell people that Bin Laden's death made you sad - that we are to love the sinner, hate the sin - the Jesus died for Bin Laden the same way he died for all of us - Many people don't take that very well.).
So, I wanted to say hi and introduce myself.
