The moderators and a number of its current posters are advocates of the false prophetess Ellen G. White whose teachings are revered as equal and on par with the scriptures of the Bible .... much the same as are the teachings of the Mormon Joseph Smith, Charles Russell of the JW organization, and Herbert W. Armstrong of the WWCG

These are prime examples of the pied pipers of deception who have come as the Lord tells that they would [Matthew 24:4-5]

White covered up the false prophecies of William Miller in 1844 related to the second coming of Jesus Christ by claiming a vision that she had verified the idea of her affiliates of the investigative judgment ruse which is an extra-biblical add on and a foundational dogma of the SDA today

... that Jesus did in fact come back as Miller had predicted, but in a different way that is not even recorded in scripture .... invisibily .... to begin an investigation of all humans to determine their behavior and eventual fate

Why did the Lord wait until 1844 to begin this process? .... the SDA organization can not address this question with any logical honest answer .... and many others related to this contrived falsehood .... the entire fabrication was staged in order to cover up Miller's failed prophecies and to prevent the membership from defecting

When confronted with scriptural truths, those on the site will show their colors by immediately railing and ranting against any poster who disagrees with any part their views; their demeanor is unchristian like, absolutely horrid, condescending, and accusing

The SDA is a legalistic cult religion fronting as followers of Jesus Christ and if one has a fairly in depth understanding of the Lord’s Word and studies what is taught by this demonically controlled movement, you will quickly discover why this is true

When you see how the members behave on a public form you will detect the presence of satanic influences controlling the dialogue

I have a number of current postings related to Bible prophecy at the site [by Truth Files] and as a result have drawn many of them out who readily display their disdain for sound biblical teaching; my intention has been to provide a witness and comparative view of the prophetic scriptures for the forum which is immediately and totally rejected by the SDA members on the forum with caustic and demeaning rebuttals

I expect to be banned by the forum, but one may still be able to visit and view my experience there .... engaging the SDA teachers on this forum is not for the novice or for new believers who lack a solid background in the prophetic scriptures

Here is a short list of responses by SDAs to my posts on the forum .... notice the crass condescending attitudes of the respondents who claim to be christians

This behavior reflects anything but one who is a follower of Jesus Christ and there are definite indications of satanic infestation which causes the reprobate condition of those who behave like these SDAs on a public forum .... the personality characteristics displayed are those of cult members who are trapped in the deceptions of a false religion

Of the groups named in the line above, I consider them all to be false cults except for the UPC. I do not consider the UPC as an organization to be on the same level with the others, but the UPC as an organization does have some cultish characteristics and practices and some local churches and pastors (in the UPC and other OP organizations) are just plain cults.

I am married to a SDA - and as with any organization you will have the ones that give the organization a bad name. The SDA is not a cult any more than UPC is. I have been to MANY of their church services and while I don't agree with some of their teachings, I also don't agree with many of the non-biblical teachings of the UPC church where I grew up. If you spend a lot of time with devout SDA (as I have) you will see MANY similarities with devout pentecostal/apostolics.

There are MANY wonderful SDA people that love God and are very sincere in their walk with God - maybe we should pray for those that do not have the full truth rather than get on their forums and debate with them to the extent the ban you from the forum - I am pretty sure that is not the approach Christ would take.

Not every SDA believes that whoever goes to church on Sunday is a devil worshipper - most of my friends are SDA - my daughter goes to a SDA school and not one SDA person I know believes that - yes they worship on Saturday but they do not have that belief. Not all of them think Ellen White's teachings are at the same level of Gods. The ones that believe that are your fanatics and you have them in EVERY religion.

Yeah - we had those bible story books growing up as well - my mother-in-law (who is SDA) bought my little girl a set not too long ago.

My daughter got chastised by my father-in-law once for drinking a caffeinated drink at his house and might I add it was right after he had put about 10 different types of little debbie cakes on the table for people to eat - let's just say after I had my words with him he never chastised her again - so a bit hypocritical - but oh well - guess those are everywhere :)

The hardcore SDA sells their wares including EGW as a prophetess ..... the organization's leadership uses this aberrant teaching to control their membership and claim that they are the only ones with the truth .... if you leave the church, you are lost, if you fail to keep the churches selected legalistic laws, you will go to hell .... on and on they go while making merchandise of their members

And more significantly they relegate Jesus Christ to angel status [Michael the archangel]

And here is the killer .... they tell their members that they cannot know of they are saved ..... all of this from EGW's writings which they consider to be above or on par with the scriptures

....the scriptures tell us that we can know that we are saved with no doubt .... and this is the bottom line requirement for salvation .... to believe on Jesus Christ and His willingness and ability to save you ..... nothing else works

If one does not believe this .... then one cannot be saved

Q. Why don't Christians go to theaters?

When I became a Christian back in 1957 I joined a local Baptist Church. As good Baptists we were not allowed to dance, drink alcohol, or go to movies. We could smoke though and they all had tv sets. To me the idea that we could not go to movies but could watch movies in our homes did not seem consistent.

Some months later I got baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and started going to a UPC church. Same rules against theaters, dancing, and alcohol but smoking was also banned. no movies but they had tv's. To me it just wasn't consistent.

Many are like the people the Apostle Paul speaks of in Romans 10:2-4 where he says:
They have a zeal of God but not according to knowledge.
They do not know about God's righteousness
and are trying to establish their own righteousness.
They have not accepted the righteousness of God available to them.
Christ's righteousness is available when we stop working and start resting in Him.

The bolded is the same as the AG when I was a kid. Now, in a lot of AGs, all of those things are either just mildly frowned upon, or a complete non-issue. They've added a few new things to the No-No list, to take their place: celebrating Halloween, e.g. Never was a problem at all, when I was a kid. Not sure when it became evil, exactly. :lol

The hardcore SDA sells their wares including EGW as a prophetess ..... the organization's leadership uses this aberrant teaching to control their membership and claim that they are the only ones with the truth .... if you leave the church, you are lost, if you fail to keep the churches selected legalistic laws, you will go to hell .... on and on they go while making merchandise of their members

And here is the killer .... they tell their members that they cannot know of they are saved ..... all of this from EGW's writings which they consider to be above or on par with the scriptures

....the scriptures tell us that we can know that we are saved with no doubt .... and this is the bottom line requirement for salvation .... to believe on Jesus Christ and His willingness and ability to save you ..... nothing else worksIf one does not believe this .... then one cannot be saved

The SDA bears the markings of a cult religion for many reasons and all involved need to warned about any affiliation with those who would deceive you out of your own salvation



I have been going to SDA churches for about 10 years. I have attended revival meetings of some of the SDA most well known speakers. I have attended many bible studies in their homes and I have NEVER heard anything like this come from anyone's mouth. Of course you are going to have whackos - you do with any denomination but you should never go on a forum and bash a whole denomination because of the few crazies - no one has it all right - if you have to have it all right to make it to heaven we are all doomed.

i go to the movies! I saw transformers! so what do people think they get when they dont go to the movies? a extra reward?

Movies are rated pg, but my work can be rated R........

Just like women "Never cut their hair" or "Never wore bifurcated garments". It is preaching mixed with Star Trek physics (time travel).

Well, yeah, there's that. I should ask my AG pastor buddy when it became evil to celebrate Halloween, and see what he says. Come to think of it, he may not think it's evil. He's kinda liberal, for the AG. :lol
