Just spoke with Sis. Amazing Grace and she said they are
putting her mother in ICU!! I told her that was not necessarily
a bad thing. Mentioned about Sis. Tina's cousin's husband, Scott,
who was in ICU. Doctor saying he might not make it but he came
home today! Thank you, Jesus for answering prayer!! Do it again.

While we were talking I looked at this thread and told her, AG,
just listen at the prayers already going up, and read them to her
and who they were from. It was uplifting to her!
This is one of the main reason's I feel these forums are worthwhile!
The reaching out to others and also being reached ourselves in time
of trouble and need. This is what it means in Gal. 6: 2, "Bear ye one
another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ".

Thank you all for the prayers. I just peeked in real quick as the drs have told me to get my kids so they can say bye as it is getting much worse. Thing is I honestly do not have a clue what is happening. She was just fine yesterday morning and now she is dying?!
They moved her to ICU and then she got worse and they moved her on to CCU and I am headed back right now thanks again for the prayers... pray for me too pls I know thats kind of selfish to ask r ight now but I just dont know how much more I can take... I am so done with all the stupidity going on in my life right now!!! Hugs

AG, It isn't selfish to ask for prayer right now. It is a wise person who knows when to ask for prayer-this is that time.

There is so much truth in this post. Thank you. I will never forget how much I looked forward to coming home at the end of each day when Walt was in ICU to get on here and soak up all the support I knew would be waiting for me. You all were such an important key to how I made it through that terrible time. And your prayers are certainly a huge part of the reason Walt is still with us today.

I am still at the hospital but they have wifi here so I am able to get on and see what yall have posted. We have some friends who have come up and my aunts from Ft Worth just got here and my hubby is about 15 min away. Thank you all so much for the prayers. I was just able to go in and see mom and she has not changed since I saw her. She is somewhat responsive right now and I cried and begged her not to leave me yet and she woke up and promised me she wouldnt go no where yet and then smiled and said I am too mean to die! LOL Even though I know right now she has no control over that I do know that our willpower is something that sometimes will get us a little extra push. She really is too mean to go and she has always told me that.. she said I will never die I will always be around to haunt you! Today I have to say I would gladly have her here to haunt me all the time rather than loose her!
Again thank you all for the prayers and I will let yall know if there is any change at all!

Things havent changed much. She is opening her eyes some but that is about it. My dad ran me and hubby and the kids off for the night.. He wants to come home and sleep tomorrow so he wants me to sleep tonight so he can be home and me at the hospital some tomorrow. (I think that made sense i feel so redundant redundant tonight I dont know LOL)
I went in and said by to her and she opened her eyes and kind of scoweled at me and I asked what was wrong and she gave me a "where do you think you are going look" I told her the nurse had run me off and dad had helped but I would be back by 7 am she grinned and you could hear a slight chuckle.
I told her you all were praying and she smiled... earlier today. she is very grateful.
I sat down tonight and told her that if she could live thru something as harsh as her leg literally exploding 2 yrs ago and nearly bleading to death in our garage then she could live thru this it was much less tramatic than the other. She shook her head and grinned and right after that is when she told me she was too mean to die... so I think we will get thru this.. Off course someone may have to remind me I said this tomrrow when things are looking bad...

Ok Immediately after posting my last post my dad came and got me to go back into the CCU... I went in to find my mother totally awake and alert! She is fussing with everyone and everything... {I want food I want water I need my glasses I need my husband I need my daughter on and on and on) she even got into a fight with one of the nurses and so did I but thats another story. She pretty much told me I was a terrible mother because I asked if my youngest could go see my mom (told her the dr and nurse had let her yesterday and said it was at her discretion) she informed me that it was not at anyones discretion and that I was sick for even considering bringing my child into that kind of atmosphere) I told her to get a life and leave the room until I left that the dr was there and he was well able to take care of my mom for 2 min and then she left and I left...
They are planning on observing for another 12 or so hours and then they will be moving her to a regular room during the night/morning!!!
Thank you all for praying!!!! I will keep you updated. The dr says she is not 100% out of the woods until this 12 hrs is up.. Oh BTW the reason they are finding that this all happened because of some muscle relaxer they had put her on... a very simple one at that...it was something called Skelaxin and it was shutting down her kidneys and heart and everything... the dr took her off of it and she is coming out of this fine!
Her last comment to me was... see told you I was still too mean to die! She remembers having that conversation with me and all of the others. She remembers all of the times we came in room that she did not respond. She said she could hear us fine and some times even see us but just was not able to respond.

i just looked at this. Baby Ferd has been very sick and we ended up in the emergency room AT PRESBY PLANO all afternoon! we just got back home, we left for the hospital before you posted. he has croop but is doing better. I wish I had known, I cant believe we were there!
If I can get over there tomorrow I will.

Ferd.. Hope you havent headed up there... I have been there all morning and am back at the house now!! :( Wanted to meet you but I think I might have seen you yesterday when you were in the waiting room. I knew the face looked somewhat familiar but I was rushing one of my kids in from the car to the restroom so it had to be fast then I went straight upstairs when I read your post tho I realized I think it was you (if the Sis Ferd was w ya then I am sure it was because the lady was beautiful and you could tell a very Godly woman)
I wont be back up there today because my mom and dad have insisted I go on about my life now that things are semi normal and go look for a house (I get the feeling they want me gone LOL) so I am heading to Tyler but we will get together later this week when Rob and I get back from Tyler if yall are up for it... ps you need to pm me your number again as I had it saved on nfcf and didnt get on in time to retrieve my pm's

I want to thank you all for the continued prayers God has answered so much by just keeping mom alive and well, she was too young to go on yet!
I do however want to ask you to keep praying, last night was a horrible night for her dad and my daughter. they stayed at the hospital to keep her company as she refuses to go to sleep yet afraid she will not wake up (dr said this is common for anyone who has had the occurances of the last few days happen to them)
and then on top of her fear of sleeping etc... she now has either a stomach virus or is still experiencing some of the reaction from the skelaktin as she has been vomitting continuously and cannot eat or hold down liquid. They are trying to wait as long as possible to put her on an iv for possible dehydration as she was there in the first place because of all the additional fluid build up... but they have said if she isnt able to hold down anything by this afternoon they will have to put her on iv's
I called and talked to her a min ago and she was just crying uncontrollably and begging for me to find some way to help her as she is so scared :( Its horrible when your momma is so sick and there is nothing you can do for her :( So if yall dont mind continuing to pray I would really appreciate it. I feel horrible not being there but I have to find a house and she agrees and understands even though it is hard...

Finish this healing. Raise her up to give honor and glory to You. We are already in awe of your healing power. You are so good to us. For all that You've already done, we give you thanks and praise. For all that You are going to do yet, we also give You thanks and praise. We cannot do anything but bow humbly in Your Presence, our Creator, Healer and Sustainer.

I wanted to post a short something tonight to thank you all for the prayers... I am staying at the hospital tonight as my mom is still scared to sleep at night (honestly cannot say I blame her) so I am sitting bedside babysitter tonight but with a great report!!!!!
The dr came in about 5 this afternoon and after he checked mom, she jokingly told him she wanted to go home and sleep in her own bed... his comment back was well how about we do that tomorrow night! She is heading home tomorrow at noon :) :) !!!! God is good!
I also want to say how wonderful it was to meet Ferd tonight. He came to the hospital and visited with hubby, me, mom and dad and the kids for a while. It was wonderful meeting him. Wish the Sis Ferd was able to come with but we do understand the circumstances and please know Ferd that we are praying for baby Ferd!!!! That in Jesus name this will NOT be a long term thing!!!!!
Again thank you all for the prayers... now those who have been praying for us... will you please send a few extra prayers up for baby Ferd as I dont know for sure that there has been a request posted but he is very sick :( Thanks again
