Earlier this week my son in law, who is very healthy and in his early 30's, suddenly developed a high fever (104) and was very ill. They had to take him to the emergency room where they ran some tests which were inconclusive.
They finally said it possibly could be Lyme disease and sent him home with antibiotics. He has been in bed the three days since then with a lower grade fever but in a lot of pain with joint aches and pains and is very lethargic. He also has been kind of delirious at times. He is unable to keep food down, etc
This morning (Sunday) he is worse so my daughter is about to take him back to the emergency room.
He recently got back from a missions trip to the Dominicon Republlc where he spent time in a rural area and then a week ago while hiking with a friend here in Tennessee he had a bad fall into a creek and cut up his legs on some rocks. Both the missions trip and this hiking accident could have exposed him to some kind of infection but so far nothing is showing up in his bloodwork.
He has three young daughters and no job and no health insurance so please help me pray. He also has a 2nd interview for a fantastic job that seems an answer to prayers this coming week so he really needs to be well for that.
