Prayer in Schools

I am curious to know if Christian prayer is allowed in your Canadian schools?

Newfoundland still has religion class but prayer in schools seems to be gone now.

Well, the first question I would ask: What would be the correct way to pray? Every teacher would have their own theology. Who would be right? Who would set the standard? This assumes it is teacher-led. And, should it be a teacher-led prayer? What if 20 different denominations are represented in the school's administration? Who is to say what is right and correct?

If we are talking a small community made up of something like 80-90% Methodists of a certain persuasion, then this concept makes sense. There would be a standard, I suppose. Otherwise, it would take compromise and cooperation to implement, and that would be rather tricky to implement, IMO.
