oh boy
even though i paid taxes for the govt schools, my kid didn't attend, he went to a church school
why are we paying taxes to support a corrupt school system? let it be subject to a free market and let it sink or swim depending on the product that is produced.
why are we falling behind in technology? because of our school system
who is John Galt?

He has be reinstated, after a friend attorney confronted the school, and cleared of any wrong doing.
We have freedom of speech (supposedly), not freedom from being inoffended. But the teacher in this case wasn't aware of that fact.

It seems, according to known history of the teacher, that this particular teacher has a thing about pushing the homosexual agenda.

I was listening to Mark Davis on WBAP here in Dallas, and he mentioned something about, "Well, what about the teacher posting pictures of two guys kissing?"
I don't know all the details to that, as I was getting ready for work while listening. If anyone else heard about that or knows where that plays into all this, please continue with your findings. In the meantime, I'll be looking up this latest bit of info...

That is what I was referring to in the post above. Here are some excerpts from the article.
Krause called the incident “mind blowing” and said the teacher had frequently brought homosexuality into ninth grade classroom discussions.
“There has been a history with this teacher in the class regarding homosexual topics,” Krause said. “The teacher had posted a picture of two men kissing on a wall that offended some of the students.”
Krause said the picture was posted on the teacher’s “world wall.”
“He told the students this is happening all over the world and you need to accept the fact that homosexuality is just part of our culture now,” Krause said.

Ahh, there we go!
I'm toggling back and forth on the forum in between tasks and didn't get a chance to read the link you posted...
Just goes to show the one-sidedness taking place with some people's agenda. It's okay, by the teacher's standard, to post such images. Yet, when in coversation, a student expresses their view on its content, we hear it in the news to the student's disadvantage...

Not every public school teacher is a wacko. You do have teachers that are part of coalitions that have agendas. I know a couple very solid and conservative public school teachers. Most are just a bit lazy in my opinion, but good people.

I don't think that one's stance on homosexuality is relivant to if they should or shouldn't be allowed in a school, unless it is a private academy or religious school because they have the rights to let people in and not who to let in.
