To the unknown, unmarried woman who birthed Steve Jobs and put him up for adoption, thank you for choosing life. Your choice, literally, changed the world. Thanks! :thumbsup
Steve Jobs was born out of wedlock, adopted at birth, dropped out of college, but changed the world. What's your excuse? :icecream
Wow Sweet Pea! Powerful words! thanks for saying that.

MrsMcD and Ferd - thank you for acknowledging my post - however, I do have to admit that the wording wasn't original with me. But I did think it was very thought provoking!

Yeah, but he's not dead, so let's not mention him :) Is he Buddhist? That might make him a little more interesting.

Not so long ago, we had Steve Jobs, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope. Now we have no jobs, no cash and no hope.

Yup, that would be just one of the reasons I switched to android.
One of the Awesome things about SJ is that he was an incredible innovator. Innovation drives competition.
One has to wonder if we would even use a mouse today had SJ not looked at it and thought "Huh... I can do something with that...."
Amazing guy...

Well, don't mind the coffee on the keyboard as much as the fact it came out my nose....

Amazed that no one has come on here questioning his salvation yet. Impressive.

Perhaps they think anyone smart enough to invent the Ipad can figure out how to hack their way into heaven.

He was a budist. There is no question

Does that mean he smoked a lot of "bud" or maybe drank a lot of beer?

Yeah, but he's still around. And so is the other guy (Warner?). The guy who was the "grown up" at Apple when it first started. You've got to love that guy. He took a couple of checks totaling around $2800.00 for his 10% share in the Apple partnership.
10% of Apple today would be worth around $35 BILLION.

One who smokes pot would be a "budist" while one who drinks a lot of beer would be a "budder."
I believe Jobs was neither but he did seem to have adopted some elements of Buddhism and thus may loosely be called a "Buddhist."
... but, your point is well taken. :highfive
