Dear Apostolic Friends
I am really in desperate need of prayer for my oldest daughter (22 Years), she had a psychotic drug induced episode.
I had suspected she had some drugs before, but I was not sure.
I missed so many early signs because I attributed to just going through a phase in her life.
Yesterday she acted totally bizzarre, and even took a knife and asked to be killed.
She started shouting about playing with the devil and was behaving totally irrational. The whole scene was a nightmare that I never expected.
The police had to take her to the psychatric hospital.
I was blind to what she was doing behind my back. I know she did some wrong things and wrong choices, but still she is my daughter and I am hurting real bad.

Thank you all of you which are praying for my daughter.
We might be separated by location, but in Heaven we will meet and I will be able to thank you in person.
I had no idea how much it hurt to have a child become mentally disabled by drugs.
I wish a million times, I could have been more perceptive of what was happening, but it seems that I ignored so many signs that pointed in that direction.
The healing will probably take a long time, I have no idea if she will ever be the same person again, all I can do is to pray to Jesus the great healer.

Thank you all,
The doctor gave her some medicine to counter act the drug induced psychosis.
She seems to be returning to her senses.
She still doesn't sound completely normal, but she now speaks coherently. She might be released soon. by law the authorities can only hold her for 72 hours unless the evaluating doctor determines her unfit to leave.
We always respected her privacy, because she was a young adult and we believe we had taught her right from wrong.
But we now found out that she was leading a double life. she pretended to be one thing but was living a different life.
There were subtil signs that should have alerted me, but I was blind.
Unfortunately the doctor has told us that we can not receive her conservatorship, because this is a one time occurrance and no judge would grant it to us.
She is an adult and the law allows her the freedom to make her own choices.
The way I see it, she has to make a choice, she can return home on the basis of new rules or she can pack and leave our home.
We are trusting in Jesus, for he is my rock and my God.
He sustained our family throughout this whole episode.

Brother FZ, I have deep empathy for you and your family. Our children have the ability to cut deep into our emotions by what they say and do to us or to themselves for that matter.
Praying that this will be resolved by the Lord. God still works miracles.
Thank you all of you which are praying for my daughter.

I will continue to pray for your daughter.

Psalms 27:14.... .. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Jesus is omnipotent, omnipresent & omniscient. All powerful, everywhere & all knowing. Jesus will help your daughter and you.

I came across this book at the library, and read it. I was amazed at the insight offered in the book with regards to mental illness and demon possession. I will share the link to this book, Tormented: Eight Years and Back. It changed my perspective dramatically, and I would recommend this book highly to everyone.

The bottom line teaching of this book focuses on how the Word of God is our weapon against every weapon the enemy has.

What many people do not know or understand is that drugs are a way to open up the spiritual demonic world.
The shammans or witch doctors well understood the connection between drugs and the spirit world.

Still praying for your daughter.
Thank you.
Drug recovery is a long process.
Her mind is returning to normal, but is not 100% there yet.
Drug dealers make a ton of money destrying the minds of young naive people who do not really understand that there are serious consequences to drug use.

Our children have the ability to cut what they say, do our own in-depth on this matter to our emotions.
