I have several! From the very mildest to the barely tolerable.

My favorite hot sauce is El Yucateco Chile Habanero, or as I affectionately call it "I Can't Believe It's Not Lava" :uhoh

I don't care for Tabasco unless I am making BBQ sauce.

I love my sauce to be HOT and any sauce with tomatillo and a little cilantro is great. We like to make our own.

Since I don't care for hot sauce, here's what I eat in its place...

From the mainstream selections, On The Border's Medium salsa...

When I want something different yet oh so awesome, Albert's found here: http://www.janannafoods.com/products.html, finely produced from Kilgore, Texas!

Not a real fan of hot sauce... but I do love my Pepper Vinegar Sauce for my collards.... just Sunday I ate an entire jar of canned collard/mustard greens that had been cooked in good ole bacon greese and then drowning in that wonderful pepper Vinegar Sauce.... but that's the extent of hotness at my house.

I don't like things too, too hot, but if I need it I use Frank's Hot Sauce...

For BBQ, I use Sweet Baby Ray's Honey or Brown Sugar for chicken, ribs, and sausage, and Kraft Honey for sloppy joe's.

I don't like most hot sauces because they are way to vinigery. Otherwise I love a good habenaro based sauce. One I found that is REALLY! good is "Pain Is Good" from Original Juan, Batch 37 Garlic Style Hot Sauce. http://www.originaljuan.com/hot-sauces/batch-37-garlic-style-hot-sauce
It's a little pricey though so as of late I've been making my own which is very similar and a lot cheaper. When it makes your lips numb then you know it's hot enough.

I actually like the flavor of Frank's Hot Sauce (especially when drizzled on a hot dog in a bun!), but really like stuff to have a bit more of a kick to it. When we go to Buffulo Wild Wings I always get my wings with the Wild sauce (one step down from the Blazin) not because the Blazin is too hot (it isn't) but I just like the flavor of the Wild soooo much better.

Now if we're talking BBQ sauces, my ALL TIME favorite is Famous Dave's Devil Spit. :)

I have tried THIS stuff a few times and while it is definitely hot enough for me, I just don't care for the flavor that much.

Matouk's Calypso is also a HUGE favorite and its several times hotter than Tabasco.

I love hot/spicy food. My wife gets mad at me for hitting my food with heat before even tasting it. Spice is a flavor people. and a good one...

having said that, I do not like the idea of hot sauces that just bring heat. if they dont bring flavor that is good then they are useless.

Which is why I choose the Wild sauce instead of the Blazin at Buffalo Wild Wings even though the Blazin is a bit hotter -it just doesn't taste as good.

I make my own BBQ Sauce. Pour Ketchup in a bowl, cover Ketchup with Worcestershire, squirt some mustard, a little Tabasco and honey. You can use brown sugar if you don't have honey on hand. It's a good sauce.

Isn't salsa generally, ohhh, one or two degrees hotter than, say, peanut butter? LOL

So, then I thought maybe I had to get back from the screen, depending on whether I saw Albert Einstein or Marilyn Monroe......still, no salsa.

Every burger I have ever ordered from any fast food place over the past 30 years has been a special with "No ketchup!". The only time I have ever consumed it is when it has been an ingredient in bbq sauce, where the vinegar is usually enough to mask the dead-body like stench.

As far as a favorite, I really like fresh homemade HOT HOT salsa the best. We have a couple of Mexican restaurants around here that make it fresh themselves. They're my favorites. But they are not chains so it wouldn't do me any good to tell you what they are. Sorry :(
