Local middle school is having a Hoodie day in honor of Martin. Even suppose to lay down in position Trayvon was found dead. This is ridiculous.

We may all have our opinions on case but to take advantage of kids for political/racial agenda is sickening.

I wear hoodies. They are warm but not too hot... there is a hat available at a moments notice for wind or rain but it does not have to be worn or carried.

I pack a pistol but not in my hoodie... and the last time I shoplifted anything was 45 years ago.

Probably so. The really sad thing is, young black men die daily at the hands of other young black men. There should be more outrage over that. But know this, my outrage is that no one has the right to take another's life, no matter their skin color or what their character. But, Mr Zimmerman made a choice, and because of that, self defense or not, a young man died.

A lot of attention put on the Martin case, but none hardly on the case of John Sanderson, a 21 year old Mississippi State University student killed by three black men in a dorm he was visiting. There is a real double standard in the media and in the so-called racial equality mouthpieces.

The school administration tried to make it against the rules to wear hoodies here a few years ago. They said the boys were going thru the lunch line and stuffing the pouch of their hoodies with extra food and not paying for it. But then they found that the lunch ladies just gave those boys extra helpings anyway once that rule was in effect. So it was pretty pointless. And they found that they actually lost MORE money after they outlawed hoodies than they had before. So they gave them back.

But I agree - I am sick to death of hearing about this kid and how he was done wrong. We'll never really know the whole story. The media has muddied the waters too much for the truth to be known. Besides that, who made it our (the public's) place to be judge and jury in this case? I thought that's why we had the courts of law in this country!

if that happened at my son's school, I would be up in arms and my son would not be there that day.

even if Travon was murdered (we dont know yet as we dont know the actual real evidence), It is utterly inoppropreate to have children laying down in a dead boys pose.
