I seldom post here but I thought I would share a report on our ongoing revival. We started revival on Sunday 1 and kicked off an attendance drive. Last week we had nearly 200 visitors and yesterday 72 in both services. We have had 5 filled with the Holy Ghost baptism and 8 baptized in Jesus Name. The church is excited and so is their Pastor. Evangelist Jonathan Dudley of Wichita is preaching the meeting doing a super job.

Yeah, but how many of the 5 are born again (with the evidence of speaking in tongues)?

I think you are talking to the wrong guy.
I believe we are Born Again on the inside. Submitting to baptism is what converted people do.

Jn. 3:5 is the new birth. Simple to me. The others are praying in the altar for the Holy Ghost.
aegism76 we are doing an attendance drive with the church divided into 2 teams they are working hard. We do not count folks who visit from other Apostolic churches which have been many. Looking forward to tonite.

I would love to be there to see this. Is there some way that I can get the cds? I have not heard Bro. Jonathan Dudley preach in several years, and wish that I could be there to hear him. I am planning on hearing his father preach in a couple of weeks.

God bless you, and may you have more than eight new people by the end of this revival.

Does it matter? Whether you're a 1 or 3-stepper, we should all be able to agree that sinners repenting, being baptized and receiving the Holy Ghost is something to celebrate! :)

I think we all know where Elder Epley stands, and I think we probably know where you stand.......so, let's not turn this into a debate thread.....just say "Great" and save the debate for another thread! :heeheehee

Better yet, dig up one of the old debates and read it so that Bro. Epley can keep strong for the revival. We do not want him to wear out too quickly. :D

Bro. Epley, how might I get the cds from your revival?

Bro Epley, I wish I could visit... Can your evangelist do a "remote viewing" of sorts? And does he take MasterCard/Visa?

That is great. I am looking forward to seeing everything when I come down for Campmeeting. I am hoping to hear Bro. N. Dudley, Bro. J. Dudley's father, as he is preaching for Bro. Townsley this at the end of this week.

Sorry, I was not very clear. I thought that he pastored down in that area. I am not acquainted with enough of the ministers who travle to know their schedules. I do believe that there are some conferences that are going to be held in the MS or LA area. If you want, I will try to find them for you, but the are going to be WPF. I have no idea what the UPC or others have going right now.

There are no WPF churches here that I know of in my region.

Jay

If you live in Mississippi, there are nearly 12 or 13 WPF churches in the state, and likely more that fellowship with us. Having said that, I am not certain of my numbers. Some states have several while others have few or none. North Carolina, Louisiana, and California all have a large number. My state of Illinois only has three or four.

Do you have any idea of the number of congregations that are in the WPF?

Well...I looked it up. The closest WFP church is about 60 miles away.

We live in a big void.

I know that feeling. I will start praying that one comes to a town near you.

Between us and the next WPF church is nearly 60 miles. I am hoping to go there this weekend.

AYR, you are constantly in my prayers.

Thanks for the info Levi. I could not remember where Bro. Odom was the pastor. I am glad that I do not bet.

Ah! Just figured that out, myself. I knew him to be a Missouri man but "Racine" immediately brings up thoughts of the Upper Midwest. In my mind, at least.

Racine, Wisconsin is where I received the Holy Ghost Baptism on Pentecost Sunday May 20, 1956 at Bethel Tabernacle (UPC). Bro. Lester Thompson was pastor. Bro. L.R. Mitchell had been pastor but had left to plant a church in North Dakota
