Mitt Romney is the least popular presidential nominee in three decades

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney made history on Monday — but not in a good way.
New polling from the Washington Post and ABC News showed that Romney is the least popular presidential nominee since at least 1984, according to Post-ABC data. (His favorable rating among registered voters is 40 percent while his unfavorable rating is 48 percent.)
In fact, it’s not really that close. Just check out this chart we put together detailing the favorable and unfavorable ratings from Post-ABC polling for the two parties’ nominees dating back to that race.

Good grief, you can have polls that say anything you desire to rant about!! The Post and ABC??? Oh, yeah them!!
Doesn't ABC stand for the "All Barack Channel"?

I am not a Romney fan but... the polls show him ahead of Obama. Can the premise in the first post be correct if the polls are correct? I guess so... One is only a nominee, while the other is the president.

What I hate the most--besides believers debating political candidates on a Christian forum (hey, this was not posted in "Politics...")--is the similarity we are getting here to the conditions in Germany, before the rise of the third Reich.
The fact that Romney is the least pop candidate does not seem to imply that he would not be elected, if one just examines our other recent..."decisions." Despite majority opinion, we have abortion, gay marriage...what does this say about Democracy? The will of the majority has been supplanted.

Anyone else see the irony (and contradiction) in these two statements?
