What is the EASY way to put documents from my laptop to my I Pad? Something that I can edit if I need to. Thanks...

Sister Alvear you can get a program named "Drop Box" and put it on both the Laptop and the ipad. When you want to move something to your ipad simply drop it in Drop Box and then open your ipad and it will be there in Drop Box. I use the program "Pages" on my laptop and also on my ipad and can edit from both.

You can produce a document in Pages, on your laptop, and if you want to play a song while speaking from your notes, all you do is drag the song from your itunes onto the Pages document where you want it to be played. Drop it in drop box and open it up in Pages on the ipad and when you touch the icon that was left there when you dragged the song over on your laptop, the ipad will play the song without you going to any other program.

Love my ipad.

Concur. Dropbox is awesome. As a side note though. It doesn't sync everything in your Dropbox onto your iPad by default (which is a good thing since I have over 3 TB of storage in Dropbox), but you can view and choose to download (by making them "Favorites") selected items from Dropbox for offline use on your iPad.
