President Barak Obama's Proclamation for the 2012 National Day of Prayer
Now if only he would live up to that document. However, all it does in prove him to be little more than one of the most abysmal liars in our political class.
could proclaiming a national day of prayer be considered the establishment of religion?

He doesn't pray? How do you know this? What is he lying about, in this case?

Some would say so, and I think they have a point. But really, it isn't "establishing" or endorsing any particular religion, so I don't see much harm (constitutionally speaking) in it.

He is lying about his and the rest of the administration's respect for the religious beliefs of his constituents.
